1 Cybershop User Guide Below is a list of all the pages and sub pages within the Cybershop system. Anything missing or incorrect? Please let us know by ing us at cybershopqueries@gfk.com Home Select from the available options where you would like to navigate to. Visits Available This shows all the assessments that are currently offered to you. You can sort the list by clicking on any of the column headings. This shows further details of the selected assessment including a full address, the general dates the assessments can be made for that wave (more specific dates and times can be found when reading the briefing notes for the assessment), and the fee for the assessment. It also allows you to access the briefing notes and accept the assessment. View Briefing Notes This will open in a new window and allow you to read all the information required for undertaking the assessment. The first page of will always give you a summary of the assessment and will list if applicable; i) A brief summary of what the assessment involves ii) Estimated length of time the assessment will take to complete iii) Restrictions iv) Date and time requirements v) Data entry requirements vi) Fees Further pages will then go into greater detail of the task involved. You should always read the briefing notes before accepting an assessment. Accept Visit Visit Requirements Page Before accepting an assessment you must confirm that you meet all of the listed criteria. If you do not meet the criteria you cannot accept the assessment. Date Selection Page Select a date and time band you wish to
2 carry out the assessment and click OK. The assessment will then transfer to your Scheduled Visits page. If you decide you do not wish to accept an assessment, clicking on the cross will remove the assessment from your page. Scheduled Visits This shows all the assessments that you have accepted. You can sort the list by clicking on any of the column headings. This shows further details of the selected assessment including a full address, the general dates the assessments can be made for that wave (more specific dates and times can be found when reading the briefing notes for the assessment), the fee for the assessment, allows you to access the briefing notes, download paperwork, enter data, reschedule and cancel assessments. Briefing Notes and Test Before you can download your paperwork and carry out your assessment, or enter your results you will need to have passed the test. You will not necessarily need to take a test for every assessment as the same test may be used for more than one assessment in the same wave. View Briefing Notes This will open in a new window and allow you to read all the information required for undertaking the assessment. Take Test The test is a set of multiple choice questions that you will need to answer correctly to confirm that you have read and understood the briefing notes. If you do not score 100% you will be able to retake the test Hint: The test opens in a new window so you can easily flick between the briefing notes and the test to double check/confirm any answers.
3 Download Paperwork You are required to print out and complete a paper copy of the questionnaire for every assessment you carry out for us. You are also required to print the Coversheet (assessment summary page). You will only be able to access this page once you have passed the test for the assessment. View Instructions Selecting View Instructions will open the full instructions in a new window. You do not need to print the full instructions as all the details needed to carry out your assessment will be contained on the coversheet and questionnaire but if you wish to do so that is fine. You will need adobe reader version 5.0 or greater installed to open the Instructions. To download Adobe Acrobat reader click here. Print Coversheet Selecting Print Coversheet will open the coversheet in a new window. The top of the coversheet will detail any address details or details pertaining to the specific assessment. Below this will be any instructions needed to carry out the assessment. You must print the coversheet before undertaking the assessment Print Questionnaire Selecting Print Questionnaire will open the questionnaire in a new window. You must print the questionnaire before undertaking the assessment. You will need adobe reader version 5.0 or greater installed to open the Questionnaire. To download Adobe Acrobat reader click here. Enter Results You will only be able to access this page once you have passed the test for the assessment and printed your coversheet and questionnaire. Clicking on Enter Data will allow you to enter the results from your assessment. Please remember that if you do not enter your results within the timescales specified for the assessment then it will be automatically deallocated and you will not be paid for the assessment. Entering Results Always double check that you are
4 entering the correct results against the correct assessment. Before you begin to enter your results you will be reminded of any data entry requirements. E.g. All staff should be referred to as colleagues. Use the printed questionnaire that you have written your answers on after undertaking the assessment to enter your results. Your results are saved every time you successfully navigate to the next page. Some responses will have routing which will mean that if a certain response is answered the questionnaire will take you to the next question that needs answering and skip around the ones that do not. Some responses will require comments to be made. The system will not continue to the next page if a comment hasn t been made where one is required. Some question will be set to be answered in a certain format e.g. numbers or times. If you answer incorrectly the system will ask you to amend them to the correct format. Check Spelling You can check your spelling at any time by clicking on Check Spelling. After clicking next to submit the page it is spell checked and if there are any spelling mistakes you will be asked to correct them. Validation After entering all your answers you will be asked to Validate Questionnaire. This runs a series of checks to ensure that the answers you have given are logical e.g. your time of entry to the branch was before your time of exit. If there are any validation failures these will be listed. You can double check your answers and amend any that are incorrect. If you believe the answers you have entered are correct you can override the validation rule by clicking on Override. You will be asked to enter a reason as to why you have overridden the validation. These comments will be reviewed when the report is checked and we may contact you to clarify any details if necessary. Payclaim After the validation check you enter your Payclaim. Any claims above the maximum allowed will ask for a reason. All claims above the maximum allowed will be checked, and amended if unauthorised.
5 Once you submit your Payclaim the assessment will be removed from your Scheduled Visits page. Reschedule If you find that you need to reschedule and assessment you can do this by clicking on Reschedule. Please note that constant rescheduling may affect the amount of assessments you are offered. Reason and comments To reschedule you will need to select a reason and comment on why you are rescheduling the assessment. Selecting a new Date You will need to select a new date and timeslot from the ones available. If there are no timeslots available please contact us immediately. Cancel Visit If you need to cancel an assessment you can do this by clicking on Cancel Visit. Please note that constant cancelling will result in the withdrawal of offers of assessments. Reason and Comments You will need to select a reason and comment as to why you are cancelling. My Details From the My Details page you can access all your personal details. Keeping these details up to date is vital. The details you give are used to decide what assessments you are offered. Incorrect/old details may mean that you are not being offered the assessments you should. Personal Details You can update your personal details such as name, address, phone numbers and address here. Additional Postcode Assessments are offered based on your home postcode, entered in the Personal Details page. You can also add an additional postcode such as your work postcode in the Additional Postcode page. You will then be offered eligible assessments for both postcodes you have entered. You are therefore likely to be offered more assessments. The Additional Postcode should be somewhere where you are frequently available to work (e.g. work, parent s house etc). Bank details Enter your bank details here so that we can pay you. The account details that
6 you enter must be able to accept electronic payments by BACS. Please enter an 8 digit account number and 6 digit sort code (format ). Please check with your bank if you are unsure of these details. Payment History From the drop down box select the payment date. You will then be able to view details of the payments made that month. If you have any queries on your payments please cybershoppay@gfk.com. To obtain a quick response, please ensure you include your name, assessor number and the relevant VIN numbers in your . Profile Questionnaire You are asked to complete the Profile Questionnaire when you become a mystery shopper for us. It provides us with a detailed picture of your lifestyle and interests and enables us to decide which assessments are most eligible to offer to you. If any of your details change it is important to keep this information up to date, as we may be able to offer you different or more assessments, based on those updates. From time to time, we also add questions to the profile questionnaire. When this happens we will send you a prompt to go and update your profile.
