1 FIELD FIX INDEX Purpose: Definition: This document is an index of available field fixes for the above noted product. It lists the specific field fix, date made available and summarizes the issues it addresses. Specific field fixes are available for clients on active support plans and can be requested by completing the online form found here: A Labtronics Field Fix (also known as Hot Fix ) is the terminology applied to the correction of one or more defects in a released product. Since the field fix affects a very small part of the product, testing is limited to specific areas of the product. A full test cycle is not carried out as a result of a field fix. Although Labtronics makes reasonable effort to ensure that a field fix does not cause additional problems, there is an inherent risk in using any field fix. By using a field fix, the Customer is taking full responsibility for the consequences that may result from modifying a fully tested, released program. * Note: When more than one field fix is combined together, this information will be provided in the description of the field fix. Please review the content of all associated. Naming: Field Fixes are named as follows: <Product Name> <Product Version><Field Fix Designation>. The Field Fix Designation may consist of 2 parts. The primary designation is a lowercase letter of the alphabet. The secondary designation is a number and is used to indicate that an updated version of the field fix has been released. For example: Field fix 'a1' is a replacement for field fix 'a'. (internal tracking reference = DT #4122) Certain permissions in Contact Manager were causing various slowdowns in Sample Tracker. (internal tracking reference = DT #4140) When creating a contact, if a mandatory field was left blank and a cross reference to a different type of contact was added, a blank contact would be saved. (internal tracking reference = DT #4147) ELN issues addressed: Controls which are supposed to be hidden by the Activation control were not being hidden. (internal tracking reference = DT #4142) The window launched by the Contact Integration control Display Details function had the title of Mask Setup. (internal tracking reference = DT #4123) The LimsLink Integration control was not displaying the data returned from LimsLink properly. (internal tracking reference = DT #4172) Using the View Worksheet option for a finished worksheet would unfinish that worksheet and send it to the Run node. 2 ELN would not release a license when it would fail to connect to the Security service. (internal tracking reference = DT #4252) Sample Tracker issues addressed: Some groups of samples in Sample Tracker would sometimes not be ordered in the Test Result Entry tab. (internal tracking reference = DT #4179) There was no way to differentiate between single sample and batch sample parameters for Nexxis Methods. (internal tracking reference = DT #4183) Security System issues addressed: Security point checks would fail for users in global groups in Sample Tracker (internal tracking reference = DT #4194) With Active Directory accounts configured, after a period of time, users would be unable to login using these accounts. (internal tracking reference = DT #749) Picking a Test Name from a drop down control, which is configured to trigger and STI control to pull Samples from Sample Tracker, presents a script not responding message. (internal tracking reference = DT #4245) The Database Integration control button was autofiring when the query was set to a formula. (internal tracking reference = DT #4323) The Change Reason prompt was being presented in situations where it should not have been. (internal tracking reference = #4347) The Nexxis Integration control was not sizing the same in Form Setup as it would at Runtime. (internal tracking reference = DT #4355) When a formula is used with the Upper or Lower functions and the data used is not text, the final result would be an error message. (internal tracking reference = DT #4359) Sample Tracker issues addressed: Samples would move to the Approval/Finished state while some Tests were still active. (internal tracking reference = DT #4240) After updating results from ELN, some replicates would contain multiple created active Results. (internal tracking reference = DT #4241) After adding an Approval group, no users were able to initiate any Sample Templates. (internal tracking reference = DT #4349) Completing all Tests and Samples for a Batch, the Batch would not complete. (internal tracking reference = DT #4353) A fix for a separate issue caused Samples to never auto-complete, this has been addressed. (internal tracking reference = DT #4378) Contact Manager issues addressed: An error was seen when exiting the Contact Details screen by clicking the x button. An error would be displayed Server Error in '/NexxisELN' Application.... This has been fixed so that a new Worksheet will be created and any data mapped to Contact Manager controls will be updated to the new Worksheet. (internal tracking reference = DT #4272) ELN issues addressed: When Secondary Signing was enabled for E-Signatures, an E-Sig prompt would be displayed for both the logged in user and the user required for the secondary signature, instead of just for the secondary signer. (internal tracking reference = DT #4337) Importing an ELN Form which includes an approver would fail and present an error message. (internal tracking reference = DT #4367) The SDMS connection would not be completed when called from an Attachment control. (internal tracking reference = DT #4388) Any edit control with a defined format would not save properly upon Worksheet initiation. (internal tracking reference = DT #4463) When controls in ELN were updated via the SDK, if there was an image on the form it would be updated with an invalid result in the database, causing the image to be lost. (internal tracking reference = DT #4554) LimsLink issues addressed: In a method that includes multiple named properties in the ELN form, the order of these properties would occasionally get mixed up, making the form unusable. A new property was added to keep all properties in the correct order. (internal tracking reference = DT #4386) When checkout attempts would overlap, the second attempt would fail. The checkout attempt now retries for 10 seconds to avoid overlap. (internal tracking reference = DT #4387) Report Manager issues addressed: On the Parameter form, the OK and Cancel buttons were reversed, which caused the Cancel button to have the default focus. (internal tracking reference = DT #4415) Sample Tracker issues addressed: When adjusting user permissions for a sample template, sometimes the displayed names in the final permissions list would be different from those actually checked. (internal tracking reference = DT #4380) An entry was missing from the web.config file. (internal tracking reference = DT #4416) When a numeric result value had trailing zeroes past the decimal point, these zeroes would be trimmed when displayed in the Sample Details screen. (internal tracking reference = DT #4425) When on the Review tab, selecting a user s name from the drop down menu would be switched to the top user in the list once clicking off the drop down menu. (internal tracking reference = DT #4440) Security System issues addressed: The PingSecurity method used by web applications did not correctly handle situations where the session state was empty. (internal tracking reference = DT #4421) If Interactive Logon in Windows Security permissions was disabled for domain users, those users were not able to log onto the ilab Portal.
