EA Gas FRC Connectivity testing and certification doc 2.1 Outcomes of Certification. Send documents that conform to the current asexml schema and the validation rules described in the GIP artefacts contained in Participant Build Packs 2 and 3 as published on the AEMO website from time to time; Reference to build pack 2 and 3 has been crossed out. Does this mean that conformity must be to ALL buildpacks? Just for clarity, should this exempt PBP4? 2. EA PBP makes mention of Tariff V, D and H formats, however these are not valid for NSW/ACT PBP5. Suggest removing mention of Tariff V, D and H from the build pack. 3. Jemena PBP As an outcome of PRWG discussions on 18/2/16 regarding paired SCR/MFX for sites with multiple MIRNs. Appendix G description for MFX does already encompass this and theore no change required: A single quote could also cover a multi-dwelling scenario with multiple MIRNs to a single connection. In this scenario if the linked SCR and MFX requests (one per each MIRN) with common quote erence are not issued on the same calendar day, the DB will not complete the requests and send Service Order Responses with a Job Completion Code that not all requests were provided in the special comments. Gas FRC Connectivity testing and certification doc PBP5 Service order job enquiry codes are flagged as either NMI related or meter related. A meter related ServiceOrderRequest will have only one meter identified where known by the requestor. Where multiple meters at a site require works, a separate request for each meter would be needed. An exception to this applies with some quoted jobs, eg where multiple meters to be installed on a single NMI are covered by the one MFX request and corresponding response for closure. Where a quoted job requires multiple meters to be installed to multiple site, then 1 SCR and 1 MFX pair is required to be raised per site/mirn. Page 1 of 7

Jemena PBP Need to include the following re: SDR under ServiceOrderRequest: For service order types that require asset augmentation works it is highly recommended (in particular for non standard jobs) to proceed with a quotation process via the distribution quotation services, to achieve completion of the request. This should apply to the following service order types: Service Connection Request (Job Code = SCR ) Interval Meter Removal (Job Code = MRC ) Service Upgrade (Job Code = USR ) Meter Size Upgrade (Job Code = UMS ) Meter Alter Position (Job Code = MAP ) Relocate Service Only Request (Job Code = RSR ) 5. Jemena PBP Service Order Response As an outcome of DB-initiated SDR/MRM discussions from PRWG session on 18/2/16, response Type should specify that initial response will not be sent for DB-initiated SDR/MRM. Service Disconnection Request (Job Code = SDR ) Initial for initial response Closure when Service Order is closed Implemented as an attribute of the ServiceOrderResponse asexml element. DOES IT NEED TO BE CALLED OUT? 6. Jemena PBP5 RMP Jemena needs to be able to object based on haulage on move-in transfer due to AEMO s haulage register being at the Network level and Jemena s haulage is maintained at a lower level - at the Receipt Point level. Please revert back PPC changes to allow Network Operator to deliver an objection notice to AEMO for a move-in transfer. There is currently examples of retailers who does have haulage to the particular Network and hence pass AEMO s validation but does not have rights to the particular Receipt Point under that Network and hence needs to be objected to by Jemena. 7. AEMO PBP Total gas injected report. Primary key does not support current production data due to lack of timestamp. Remove primary key as no combination will work. Issue is two entries for same gas day and gas day historical combination because of different times received in the same day. Also, the context of the naming of the fields depending on the outcome may need to change. GasDay in the current report actually ers to the date the data was updated/received, vs GasDayHistorical which is actually the gas date the data applies to. If adding a timestamp, it may make sense to rename GasDayHistorical to GasDay and rename GasDay to LastModifiedDateTime. Page 2 of 7

3 8. AEMO PBP Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG to use Option 2 (padded out scaling factor dates for each gas date) and leave it as mandatory fields for the scaling factor nsl and scaling factor nsl date. Also to include scaling factor nsl date as a part of the primary key. 9. AEMO PBP Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG to make retailer_of_last_resort and estimated load fields optional. 10. AEMO PBP Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG to make status and last modified date fields optional. 11. AEMO PBP Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG to make retailer_of_last_resort field optional. 12. AEMO PBP There seems to be some orphaned text in the NMI column for the new T2445/T2450 (Upgrade/ Downgrade) transactions in the PBP5. Suggest this can be deleted, as the NMI/MIRN is definitely needed in order to record the upgrade/downgrade in the GRMBS. Also to note, the Network_Receipt_Point_ID field is an optional one and by implication of providing it can mean an automatic change in AEMO s system for that mapping, if different to currently held mapping. NMI M NMI for reassignment to the network receipt point specified. Either this or the network ID (network section) should be populated. 13. Jemena PPC feedback item Item 84 from Origin Jemena does not agree to Origin s request to implement a methodology to shave leading and trailing spaces in the Address in the NMIDiscoveryRequest. Jemena believes that validation is better implemented at the retailer end to ensure that the operator is warned of any leading or trailing spaces. This would be a more efficient process. Jemena also believes that there is adequate documentation to resolve the issue of no MIRN match as documented in diagram 12.0 MIRN request. Alternatively, Device number could be implemented as a field in the NMIDiscoveryRequest which would significantly improve the single MIRN match rate as per current process available in Jemena s system for NSW/ACT. 4 14. Jemena PBP5 Appendix session on 18/2/16, for JEC = DSD, the NSW detail description needs to be updated er proposed text. This may be requested by Retailer, or by Distributor as a matter of safety, when disconnection of supply is intended to be longer term due to nonpayment of outstanding account by the customer. On occasion, access to the meter is not possible, or endangers the safety of the field personnel, and disconnection of supply can only be effected by disconnecting the service pipe in the street (or closing isolation valve). 15. Jemena PBP5 Appendix session on 18/2/16, for JEC = SDR, the NSW comments needs to be updated er proposed text. Retailers to use for permanent disconnections only (removal of meter and disconnection of service at mains). An SDR is accepted with matching MRM (one per each meter) issued on the same calendar date in order to remove all meters at the MIRN and the service. Distributor-initiated to disconnect the supply as a matter of safety. The service pipe will be disconnected at the main/street/boundary line. 16. Jemena PBP5 Appendix session on 18/2/16, for JEC = MRM, the NSW detail descriptions and comments need to be updated er proposed text. NSW detail descriptions: Meter removals can be performed at customers request or in situations where significant debt has been incurred and unlikely to be recovered or where a building is being demolished. Distributor-initiated meter removal may be required as a matter of safety. NSW COMMENTS MRM is accepted to remove a meter, where there is more than one meter at the MIRN. If there is only one meter onsite, will result in Closed Not complete, and say SDR required. NOTE 1: A SDR MUST accompany the MRM in this case. The matched pair of SDR/MRM must be issued on the same calendar day. Otherwise, the DB will not complete the request and send a Service Order Response with a Job Completion Code that no matched MRM/SDR was provided in the special comments. For Distributor-initiated MRM and where it is for the removal of the last meter for that site (MIRN), the ServiceOrderResponse will be paired with a SDR. Page 4 of 7

5 17. Jemena PBP5 Appendix JEC = MRT should specify that MRT can only be completed for a gas meter. A new meter will be installed to allow the existing meter to be laboratory tested. The meter being tested is NOT returned to the property after testing. NOTE: Meter testing can only be completed for a gas meter. 18. AEMO PBP5 Appendix G Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG to include finalized JCC combinations as Appendix H. 19. APA/AGNL PBP6 3.4 Exception handling for transformed B2B transactions needs to be modified as agreed in the following/embedded FW revised wording for PBP6.msg 20. AEMO PBP Agreement at 5 Feb IIR WG that BaseLoad is an optional field with comment Mandatory if basic meter. Same across WWT. Make update on comment. 21.
