2 HOW TO ENTER THE LINDEN POSTCARD SHOW Entry to the Linden Postcard Show must be done online. IT S AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3! STEP 1 Register with Gallery 247 (or, Log In if you ve entered before) STEP 2 - Upload your artwork details & images STEP 3 Enter the Linden Postcard Show! You ll need: > Internet access and an account > Your banking details for artwork sales > Your ABN (if applicable) > Your artwork details & photo(s) of your work(s) > Your credit card details for payment of entry fee > To have read the TERMS & CONDITIONS IMAGE > The Linden Postcard Show opening night. 3 STEP 1 REGISTER WITH GALLERY 247 The first thing you need to do is to register with Gallery 247, a secure Melbourne-based online service for both artists and art shows that will allow you to enter your artwork into many other Australian art prizes. The Linden Postcard Show uses Gallery247 to help manage the behind-the-scenes logistics & to make artwork sales MUCH easier. To register with Gallery 247: 1. Visit 2. Enter your First name, Surname, & make up a Password make sure you write it down, as you ll need it later! 3. Register me as choose Artist from dropdown menu 4. Enter the Security Code in the space provided 5. Click the Register button 6. Check your and follow the instructions to complete the registration process Congratulations! You can now log in and add some details about yourself and your artwork.

4 ENTER YOUR POSTAL ADDRESS DETAILS We need your current postal address in case your artwork doesn t sell, and we have to return it to you. On the plus side, return postage is included in your entry fee! Win! To enter your postal address details: 1. Visit to log in to your Gallery 247 account 2. Click on the MY PROFILE heading 3. Enter your postal address into the relevant fields 4. Click Update My Details when you re done

5 UPDATE YOUR GST STATUS & DIRECT DEPOSIT DETAILS Boring but necessary, you now need to update your GST Category and Direct Deposit details so we can pay you ASAP when your work sells! To enter your GST Status & Direct Deposit details: 1. Click on the MY PROFILE heading 2. Click on the Artshow Details (GST) tab 3. Click on the GST Category dropdown menu and make a selection 4. Enter your ABN (if applicable) 5. Then, enter your Name, BSB, Account and Name of Bank in the relevant fields 6. Click on the Delivery of Paintings to Art Show and select how you intend to deliver your artworks to Linden 7. Click on Return of Paintings After Art Show and select By General Freight Carrier ONLY* 8. Click on the Update button when you re done *This is because your entry fee includes return postage for unsold works

6 ARE YOU A HOBBY ARTIST? If you re a hobby artist, you must complete a Statement by a supplier form. It s not us it s them the ATO. If you don t complete the form, we have to give them 49% of the sale, which would make us sad... Read more HERE. So, do yourself a favour: download the form & include it with your artworks when you deliver them to us so you can get the money that you deserve :) DOWNLOAD the Statement by a supplier form HERE. Complete this statement if the following applies: n you are an individual or a business n you have supplied goods or services to another enterprise (the payer), and n you are not required to quote an Australia business number (ABN). Section A: Supplier details Your name Your address Statement by a supplier HOW TO COMPLETE THE STATEMENT n Print clearly in BLOCK LETTERS using a black pen only. n Use BLOCK LETTERS and print one character in each box. n Place X in all applicable boxes. Payers can check ABN records of suppliers by visiting abr.business.gov.au or phoning hours a day, 7 days a week. Suburb/town State/territory Postcode Reason/s for not quoting an ABN Place X in the appropriate box/es. The payer is not making the payment in the course of carrying on an enterprise in Australia. The supplier is an individual aged under 18 years and the payment does not exceed $350 a week. The payment does not exceed $75, excluding any goods The supplier is an individual and has given the payer a written statement to the effect that the supply is either: made in the course or furtherance of an activity done as a private recreational pursuit or hobby, or wholly of a private or domestic nature (from the

7 STEP 2 UPLOAD YOUR ARTWORK DETAILS Now the fun part! Add details about each artwork that you wish to enter into the show. To add details about your artwork: 1. Click on the MY ARTWORK heading on your Gallery 247 homepage (it s under the MY PROFILE heading) 2. Click on the Add New Artwork button 3. Fill in all of the required fields (marked with * ) under Artwork Details (see note below) 4. Click Insert Artwork to save 5. You will now be prompted to upload in image of your artwork. Go to step 3 on the next page to find out how. PLEASE NOTE: the dimensions of your artwork INCLUDING any framing MUST be cm x 25.4 cms for this show. Artworks can be landscape or portrait orientation.

8 ADD A PHOTO OF YOUR ARTWORK Apart from showing off your great work, adding a photo to your listing makes it easier for us to identify your work, which helps with sales. Even a simple camera phone snap will do the trick! You can add a photo any time even after you ve entered the show! To add a photo to your artwork listing: 1. Click on the MY ARTWORK heading on your Gallery 247 homepage 2. Click the Upload Image button next to a work in your list 3. Click on the Choose File button 4. Navigate to the image file (2MB max) on your computer and then click Choose 5. Click Upload Now 6. Once you see THANK YOU: Image has been uploaded successfully, close the pop-up window by clicking the Close Window button 7. Repeat this process for your other works

9 STEP 3 - ENTER THE LINDEN POSTCARD SHOW You re nearly there! You can enter up to 4 works in the Linden Postcard Show ! To select the artworks you wish to enter: 1. Click on the MY ARTWORK heading on your Gallery 247 homepage (you may already be there) 2. Scroll down and click on Linden Postcard Show Select which works from your list you wish to enter by clicking on the Check Box to Select Artwork boxes (you may need to scroll down to see the list) 4. Click on the Submit Artwork to Show button to be taken to the Artshow Submission Checkout page where you will pay your entry fee

10 MAKE YOUR PAYMENT Your entry into the Linden Postcard Show is not confirmed until you have made payment by credit card. To make payment by credit card: 1. Complete the fields in the Payment Details section 2. Click the checkbox next to Yes, I agree to these conditions of entry 3. Click Confirm Artwork Submission to complete the process Congratulations! You have entered the Linden Postcard Show! Keep an eye on your for confirmation of delivery dates & the exhibition opening!
