3 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 3 Make sure you note your Username and Password. Your Username will be automatically generated by the system. I do not have access to your Password if you lose it. Are you creating a New Project or Joining an Existing Team Project? If you are in a Team, please communicate with your teammates. The first person to register will receive a Project Key. This is a link that will associate all your names with the same project. Share this Project Key with your team members.

4 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 4 Enter your Title. Include your full title and spell everything correctly. You can change your title up until registration closes on Fri., Mar. 16, 2018, midnight. If your project is a Website, this is where you will enter your URL. Input only the string of 8 digits. You can do this even if you are still working on your Website. Your Website will lock on Fri., Mar. 16, 2018, midnight.

5 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 5 If your project is a Paper, you will see a browser button for uploading your file. Your Cover Sheet, Paper and the Annotated Bibliography must be combined in ONE pdf to be uploaded. If you are still working on your Paper, you can upload it later, from your Profile, as long as you meet the Fri., Mar. 16, 2018, midnight deadline. How to add your Paper at a later date:

If your school does not appear in the drop down menu, contact the state coordinator (historyday@tennesseehistory.org) to have it added. If your TEACHER does not appear in the drop down menu, that means he/she has not registered. Contact your teacher and STRONGLY ENCOURAGE him/her to register. The TEACHER registration deadline is Fri., Mar. 9, 2018, midnight. If you need an early or late registration time, request it here: You can also request an early or late registration time after you have created your account. Only request an early or late registration time if you actually need it. Students who register early will have priority.

7 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 7 Review your info and make any corrections. Here is where you and your parent/guardian will agree to the required Permissions and Waivers.

8 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 8 Now you can pay the $20 registration fee. It is easier to pay from within the system. If you are paying by check, you need to select Generate Invoice and include that invoice with your payment. You can pay the registration fee at any time before the deadline of Fri., Mar. 16, 2018, midnight. This is the info you need to share with any team members.

9 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 9 For Group Projects, you can also find the Project Key on your Profile: You will receive a confirmation with this information. You can forward this to any team members so they will know your Project Key to use when registering. Note: in this context True means Yes.

10 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 10 If you are not the first person on your Team to register, you will need the Project Key. You will get the Project Key from the first student who registered:

11 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 11 Your Profile will show the members on your team who have registered. From within the registration system, you can request an early or late interview time or nominate yourself for a special award. Go to: My Profile:

12 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 12 Navigate to Additional Questions to request an early or late interview time. Only do this if you really need to have your schedule accomodated. Students who register early will be given priority.

13 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 13 Navigate to Special Award Nominations to nominate yourself for a special award. You may select up to TWO. your process paper/bib to historyday@tennesseehistory.org.

14 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 14 To pay your registration fee of $20, navigate to the FEES tab from the Dashboard. Go to the Order History tab: Select the Order ID:

15 2018 STUDENT/ENTRY REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS 15 This will take you to the Payment Screen: Select the green PAY NOW button to pay from within the registration system using a credit/debit card. Enter your contact and card info. If you are paying by check, PRINT this invoice and mail with the check to: Jennifer C.
