1 Council on Rehabilitation Education Monitoring Committee Report Institution: University of Kentucky File No. 033 Term of Accreditation: CONDITIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS: Conditions: 1. By April 1, 2014, the RCE program shall provide evidence of a written program evaluation plan that assesses and reviews the major elements and overall effectiveness of the RCE program, consistent with its stated mission and objectives. (B.1) 2. By April 1, 2015, the RCE program shall provide evidence of the results of the most recent program evaluation assessment which evaluate the RCE program s: a. Mission and objectives (B.2.1); b. Content and design of the curriculum (B.2.2); c. Practicum and internship requirements and supervision (B.2.3); d. Graduate employment and professional credentialing (B.2.4); e. Efforts to recruit and retain students with an emphasis on diversity (B.2.5); f. Resources to carry out program mission (such as ongoing technical support, financial and other resources) (B.2.6); and g. Faculty strengths and experience. (B.2.7). Extend to April 1, By April 1, 2015, the RCE program shall provide evidence that the results of the program evaluation have been communicated to institution administrators. (B.3) Extend to April 1, By April 1, 2014, the RCE program shall provide evidence of documentation of practicum activities in logs, progress reviews and summaries. (D.1.1) 5. By April 1, 2014, the RCE program shall provide evidence that its website and other university websites utilized by its students meet national accessibility standards. Where barriers are present, the institution shall have a plan and timeline for their remediation. (F.3) 6. By April1, 2014, the RCE program shall provide evidence of a written plan and timeline for remediation of accessibility barriers on campus. (F.3) Status of Conditions: 1. The RCE Program is encouraged to enhance coverage of different learning styles. (C.3.5) 4. The RCE Program is encouraged faculty enhance methods for students to provide overall program feedback, in addition to regularly scheduled course feedback. (E.2) Status of Recommendations: 1.
