Europractice members with existing regular EUROPRACTICE non-commercial research and training licenses and who have paid the appropriate qualifying maintenances are eligible for consideration for the first Block of 20 Classroom Teaching licenses. To be eligible for consideration for the second Block of 30 licenses, institutes are required to have an appropriate number of regular EUROPRACTICE non-commercial research and training licenses. All applications for access to low-cost Classroom Teaching licenses require an initial proposal and renewals require a successful yearly report. Note 2. Europractice members with existing regular Europractice Front End and Verification (FEV) licenses or existing regular combined FEV and Implementation Tools (IMP) may apply for classroom licenses of Classroom Front End Verification and Implementation Tools (CR-FEVIMP). However, where a Europractice member only has regular FEV license and does not have regular IMP licenses then the CR-FEVIMP licenses will be of the same functionality of their FEV suite (i.e. CR-FEVIMP will not include Implementation tools (IMP) functionality). However, if the Europractice member has both FEV and IMP regular licenses then the CR- FEVIMP licenses will include IMP tools functionality. We regeret that if the Eurorpactice member only has regular IMP tools licenses and does not have regular FEV licenses then this does not qualify for access to classroom CR-FEVIMP licenses. Note 3. Option add-ons licenses to the regular Europractice System Level tools, for example C-Compiler Designer etc, are not included and not available as Classroom licenses. 5 Please complete CLEARLY (if by hand use BLOCK CAPITALS) V Page 5 of 5 Synopsys Classroom Teaching Licenses are subject to all of the terms of the existing Synopsys-EUROPRACTICE End User Agreement ( EUA ) already signed by your Institution. In addition, the Synopsys Classroom Teaching Licenses may only be used in a classroom environment for the teaching and instruction of bona-fide registered students on undergraduate or postgraduate taught courses. The use of these licenses for any other purposes, including research or teaching of short courses for industrial delegates, is strictly forbidden. Synopsys has absolute discretion as to whether or not to approve each request for Classroom Teaching Licenses. Any approval to use Classroom Teaching Licenses shall expire on the 30 th September of each year. (In the case of an initial submission after 1 st July then the right to use Classroom Teaching licenses shall be granted until 30 th September of the following year) Synopsys and EUROPRACTICE will consider any proper request from an Institute that is already Synopsys customer (via EUROPRACTICE) to use Classroom Teaching Licenses. This request is subject to the submission of a satisfactory description of how the licenses are to be used and, in the case of an application to extend approval for a further year, also include full details of the usage during the previous period. The request to extend approval in subsequent years (including the report describing how the licenses have been used in the current year and will be used in the forthcoming year) is required by 30 th September. Should the main Synopsys-EUROPRACTICE End User Agreement be breached in anyway, the EUROPRACTICE membership of your institution terminated, or payment of invoiced fees not received, then the approval and right to use these Synopsys Classroom licenses will cease with immediate effect.
