We are situated in between Huddersfield and Leeds and easily commutable from either city, as well as Wakefield, Bradford and Dewsbury. The company offers a variety of digital services such ecommerce solutions, mobile and app development, marketing campaigns and much more. We work with leading brands stretching across a variety of mediums. Your technical offering is key to the company s success, and in response we invest a substantial amount of effort and budget into constantly improving the environment and skills of the team. There s a great amount of variety in this role, all your front-end skill set will be tested. You ll gain valuable experience building static sites in Wordpress from scratch, responsive brochure sites, templates, ecommerce sites as well as mobile and app development. You ll also get the chance to mentor more junior members whilst getting the support to enhance your own skill set. 5 Technical skills required > 3+ years experience (preferably in an agency environment) > High level experience in WordPress CMS theme development > Working knowledge in developing with WooCommerce > Good knowledge knowledge of PHP, Object Oriented Programming & MySQL > Very strong HTML5 and CSS3 techniques > SASS / SCSS > Good level in JavaScript / jquery > High skills with in responsive design/development > Development tools & frameworks like as Gulp, Node, etc > A working knowledge of version control using Git > Familiarity with RESTful APIs and use of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Tokens > Server management and curation using cpanel > Working knowledge of domain management including DNS management > Ability to debug front-end site issues using inspector tools > Ability to debug back-end issues using terminal and/or error logs > Mindfulness of UI / UX centered design/development > Working knowledge of design software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign & InVision Personal skills required Advantage skills > Excellent attention to detail > A friendly and approachable attitude > Work well in teams as well as individually > Keen attention to detail > Excellent problem-solving capabilities > Trustworthy and amicable > Good organisational skills > Ability to pass on and share knowledge > Competent MacOS user > Perch CMS development > Craft CMS development > Magento > Javascript frameworks eg.
