Which in turn helps companies increase efficiency, productivity and profitability. Create end-to-end websites for private sector clients using Wordpress. This included requirements gathering, architecture, design, development, installation and deployment of the sites as well as iterative improvements based on functional and creative feedback from clients. Utilize plugins to create customized fluid layouts in Wordpress. Install Wordpress theme and create child themes customized to clients needs. Create custom HTML signature with functional links to , website and phone number Convert static HTML website to mobile friendly standards Project #3 Client: Algonquin College Applied Research and Innovation (ARI) Project Title: Project Reporting System Duration: May 2015 August months (P/T) The Applied Research and Innovation (ARI) program at Algonquin provides subsidized development teams for private sector clients to build prototype innovative technology solutions. 3 project was to develop a custom web portal that would track all time billed against projects and provide custom reporting by project. Led designer for User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) using Adobe Illustrator Followed an agile development methodology meeting directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and present high fidelity prototypes Developed a working prototype of the system showing function and interactions using Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery. Participated in regular development SCRUMs and performed development in short sprints with little time allotted for re-design requiring a high attention to detail to ensure it is done right the first time. Project #4 Client: Algonquin College Role: Media Professor Duration: January 2014 April year and 4 months (P/T) Taught first year HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript promoting good mobile first design practices. Also led the lab portions of the Content Management class, which focused on Drupal 7 CMS. Taught the basics of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript focusing on mobile first design Used Drupal 7 to create labs and led the lab portion of the Content Management System. Wrote lecture material and created assignments that will help students understand material and expand on their skills. No proofreading was available so this required a high attention to detail. 4 Supervised the work lab that is available to the Interactive Media Design students 24/7 Provide guidance and mentoring on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Actionscript, Photoshop and Illustrator Walked students through the debugging process and provided insight into problems Project #6 Client: Boardspace and Algonquin College ARI Project: Board Management System Role: Project Manager Duration: February 2015 April months (P/T) Boardspace is an up-and-coming easy-to-use board management system that went through its third development phase through the ARI department. The system is designed to help alleviate the burden on the board s volunteer members. It prepares meeting minutes instantly, automates tasks and provides feedback and reminders when necessary. This particular phase focused on what happened between meetings, when information had to be dispersed or when a decision had to be reached outside of a formal meeting. Virtual meetings were created to do just that. Information could be sent out to all members and if needed a vote could be called. All virtual meetings would automatically be put into the meeting minutes and were required to be closed within a physical meeting. Led a small design team managing design tasks, timelines and milestones Had direct contact with the client to ensure their needs were being met and facilitated meetings for bi-weekly demos Performed Graphic Design and created a new logo for Boardspace Project #7 Client: Experiential Simulations and Algonquin College ARI Project: Ethics Game and Project Management Game / Project Manager Duration: November 2014 April months (P/T) Experiential Simulations, through the help of the Applied Research and Innovations department, develops educational web based games to assist students in learning through experience. The games produced in this time were The Ethics Game which users with ethical dilemmas in business and forced them to make decisions based on assigned roles and the Project Management which simulates the - 4 -

Performed Graphic Design of custom images for Button, Icons, Sidebars, etc. using Adobe Illustrator. Saved images as vector images and SVGs. Developed the information architecture for each page. Project #8 Client: Personal Neuro Devices and Algonquin College ARI Project: EEG Buddy (Android App) Duration: May 2014 August months (P/T) Personal Neuro Devices is an Ottawa based company that works in an innovative headspace, using EEG brain waves to control apps and games. EEG Buddy is an Android App that allows you to easily record, upload and view electroencephalogram (EEG) data. EEG Buddy works together with a shared server system called Introspect developed by an ARI team. The hope of this product was to automatically detect wakefulness and alertness and pinpoint early warnings of potential seizures. Designed the interactive android interface in Illustrator focusing on the user experience when interacting using touch Created Logo, buttons and Icons that work well with touch interactions Worked closely with the development team to ensure design and flow of information was implemented correctly. 6 Project #9 Client: Personal Neuro Devices and Algonquin College ARI Project: Introspect (Web Application) Duration: January 2014 May months (P/T) Personal Neuro Devices is an Ottawa based company working in an innovative headspace, using EEG brain waves to control apps and games. To facilitate the development of software utilizing data from Electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings, prepared a server platform (named Introspect) to collect and monitor EEG data from users of games and other apps. Introspect enables third party developers to take advantage of powerful server-side processing of EEG data. This stage of the Introspect project focused on preparing a series of mobile friendly dashboards facilitating the operations of consumers, developers and PND administrator. Designed a mobile friendly dashboard in Illustrator which provides in-depth progress information Designed a user interface for third party developers to upload new app ideas and concepts that would work in conjunction with the NeuroSky Mindwave headset Create HTML and CSS prototypes of designs to be used by the development team Project #10 Client: Feistee and Algonquin College ARI Project: Web Application Duration: November 2013 February months (P/T) Feistee is a web portal for personalized health and wellness advice that can be dispensed in minutes at a fraction of the cost of an in-person consultation. Feistee aimed to provide access to a wide range of experts in the health and wellness industry as well as provide a sense of community through a beautifully crafted and user-friendly web application where users can share stories, experiences and product reviews. The Project completed two stages. Stage one re-branded the company and created a new logo that matched the style of the holistic non-touch health and wellness niche target market. The second stage developed a layout for the site
