1 Module: I. Experience History 1. EIS Login New Modules of Online Executive Information System Go to Executive Information System (EIS) login page through the link with User Name : e<<eis Number>> for eg/ e Password : y<<year of Birth>> for eg/ y1987 The above default password will be applicable only for the first time login. If the password has already been changed, login through the changed password for the same login. In case of forgotten password, contact company level EIS Nodal Officer to reset it to default password. 2. Experience History Inside the Home page of EIS, Click "ExpHist" tab in the top left hand side as shown below: The create tab of "ExpHist" opens as under: Select the Functional Area from the drop down list i.e., in which functional area you have acquired the Experience.

2 Similarly select the Company, Area & Unit in which you have acquired the Experience. Select the Experience/ Skill set, from the drop down menu, of the Functional Area. Select Experience Level from the drop down menu of <<BASIC/ ADVANCED/ EXPERT/ ROLL MODEL LEVEL>> The following definitions would appear in the column "Level Definition" for the selected Level for ready reference (All Experience/ Skill set have 4 levels: Basic, Advanced, Expert & Role Model Level. Executive may select the level corresponding to each experience/ skill set.) Basic Level Has broad based technical knowledge in the area. Can manage without much supervision and guidance. Able to remain current with knowledge and use of latest technique. Able to solve operational problems innovatively using learning from experience. Advanced Level Experience enough to anticipate & plan for obstacles, see implications and consequences of situations. Can apply and modify complex learned concepts and methods appropriately. Able to realign the processes and systems in line with the technical advancement. Able to benchmark and upgrade the productivity with the use of skill and experience to remain on top. Expert Level Can design new systems to improve further, help resolve others technical problems, offer personal expertise to improve performance, explore beyond one s immediate fields, keep abreast of the latest concepts and apply them by customizing. Able to facilitate transfer of experience & skill to one area of operation to the other aligning the business goals. Role Model level Has mastery, encourage and teach others on the area of expertise, spread new techniques in the company, Discover new things, publishes articles on new technique or new methods in professional or technical journals. Select the "FromDt" & "ToDt" from the Date format given in the screen. If the Experience is continuing in nature, then set the "Continuing" field as "Y" which will automatically set the "ToDt" as today's date for all reporting purposes. Write some suitable remarks for the record and click "Save" button. On clicking the "Save" button, a confirmation message will appear on the screen as under with the "Self-Approval" button on the screen: Submission of false information is a misconduct under the CDA Rules. If the information submitted is found to be a false claim, at any time, you will be held responsible and liable for disciplinary action under CDA Rule or other action as the Company may deem fit

3 On clicking the Self-Approval button, the record will be saved and goes to the Main Database. The saved record can't be edited by the Self. In case of any wrong entry, the same would be deleted through the Area level Nodal Officer's login. The same cycle has to be repeated for each and every Experience/ Skill set. Executives may make entries of their Experience/ skill set as and when they acquire through the same process. Module: II. Family Details 1. EIS Login Go to Executive Information System (EIS) login page through the link with User Name : e<<eis Number>> for eg/ e Password : y<<year of Birth>> for eg/ y1987 The above default password will be applicable only for the first time login. Family Details Inside the Home page of EIS, Click "Fmly Dtls" tab in the top left hand side as shown below:

4 The create tab of "Fmly Dtls" opens as under: Fill the name of the Family Member in the "Family Member Name" field. Set the "Residing with Self" field as "Y" if the Family member resides with the Self or set as "N" In a similar fashion, fill the rest of the fields (like Address, Sex, Relationship, BirthDt, Marital Status, Occupation, Working Status, Education, Organization, Position, Income per annum, etc ) of the Family Member accordingly. The Handicapped field should be set as "Y" only if the family member is suffering from 40% or higher disability. If the Family member is an employee of CIL, the following fields would become active: Company, Area, Unit & EIS No/ NEIS No for filling up the details. If the Family member is associated with any Business involving CIL, the following fields would become active: Name & Address of the firm, Owner, Relation with Firm, Nature of Business & Other Interest for filling up the details. The fields "LTC Eligibility" & "Medical Eligibility" would be automatically filled by the System based on the details given by the Self for that particular family member. The Nominees field (CMPF Nominee, Gratuity Nominee, CMPS Nominee ) has to be set as "Y" if the Family Member is a nominee or else leave the field as blank. With suitable remarks, save the record. The saved record can't be edited by the Self. In case of any wrong entry, the record has to be deleted by setting the "Delete Request" field as "Y" with suitable remarks. The same cycle has to be repeated for each and every Family Member.

5 After saving the Family member details, go to the Home Page of Family details tab as shown under: Click the button "ConsiderAddingNominees" in the bottom left hand side of the Home page as shown above. Then Click the nearby button "AddNominees" to populate the basic details of the Nominee in the Nominee details tab (ie., CMPF, CMPS, Gratuity, etc). On clicking the button, a message will appear on the screen like "T<<EIS NO>> INITIALIZATION OF NOMINEE DETAILS DONE SUCCESSFULLY". 3. CMPF Details Inside the Home page of EIS, Click "CMPF Dtls" tab in the top left hand side as shown below: The Home page of the CMPF Details will open as under:

6 The above screen will be automatically filled with all the CMPF Nominee members as set by the Self in the Family Details tab through the CMPF Nominee field. The "edit" tab of each and every Nominee member opens as under: The fields like "NomName, NomAddress, NomSex, NomReln & NomBirthDt would be automatically filled up based on the details given in the Family Details tab. Set the Share percentage of the nominee member in the "Share %" field. If the Nominee is a minor, then the Guardian details have to be filled through the following fields: "GrdnName", "GrdnAddress", "GrdnSex", "GrdnReln" & "GrdnBirthDt". With suitable remarks, save the record. The saved record can't be edited by the Self. In case of any wrong entry, the record has to be deleted by setting the "Delete Request" field as "Y". The same cycle has to be repeated for each and every Nominee Member of CMPF. 4. Gratuity Details & CMPS details The Gratuity details & CMPS details are to be filled in exactly the same fashion as CMPF details. (The details submitted by the Self will be subject to the approval by Area Nodal Officer. Area Nodal Officer can call for any document for verification before approving the same. The self is liable to produce the documents as may be sought by the Nodal Officer.) III. Area Level Nodal Officers' Login The login details of the Area level Nodal Officer would be the same as that of PMS domain of EIS.

7 Family Details tab Inside the Home page of EIS, Click the Approval tab in top right hand side of the screen as shown below: The "Area level" approval tab of the screen will open as under: All the updations made by the Self through the tabs like Family Details, CMPF Details, CMPS Details & Gratuity Details will be lying pending as shown above.

8 The screen of each and every pending tab will open as under: The Area level Nodal Officer has to approve the above mentioned pending records. The "CMPF Details", "CMPS Details", "Gratuity Details" are to be approved only on the basis of the respective Nomination form submitted by the Self or available in the Office. Date of Birth of Children to be recorded as per the Birth Certificate or Educational Certificate or Certificate issued by the School Authorities. Handicapped of the Family Member (if any) should be verified as per the Certificate issued by the Competent Authority under the Government Guidelines. The Family details is normally a Self declaration by the concerned Executive. However while approving, the Nodal Officer may refer to Medical Card Issue Record, LTC/ LLTC Records and other family records as available. In case of any doubt about any member of the Family, the Nodal Officer may seek additional record from the Executive concerned.

9 Experience History In case of any wrong entry made by the self in the Experience tab, the same can be deleted by the Area level Nodal Officer through the "Delete Request" field of the Edit screen as follows: o Click the "ExpHist" tab of the top left hand side of the Edit screen of the concerned Executive's record as shown under: o The Edit button of the Experience History will open as under: o The Area level Nodal Officer can delete the Experience Record by setting the "Delete Request" field as "Y". o On setting the delete request as "Y", one more field "Approve Delete Request" will appear on the bottom of the screen with drop down values <<Y/N>>. o On approval and saving, the Experience History record would be deleted from the Main database.
