Demonstration Instructions This will demonstrate the procedures to use the solution. 1.1 Prerequisites Prerequisite Notes 1 Android Gingerbread or newer, devices that do not have a QR code scanner built in should download QR Droid in order to scan QR codes 1.2 Procedure Description Action Result Screen Graphic 1 Launch Point Inventory Launch from the list of installed applications Solution Center Demonstration Template 2

3 Description Action Result Screen Graphic 2 Select the start trial button This will launch the app in trial mode. Keep in mind there is also a web portal where data can be audited, exported or synced to line of business applications. 4 4 After pushing next on the previous screen you will come to this screen This is an iconography that describes the functionality of the different buttons within the application. Push continue after viewing. 5 Push the 4 bar icon to enter inventory count list This will take you to a list of all open counts Solution Center Demonstration Template 4

5 6 These are the open counts Selecting one will allow you to count against the already open count, selecting the plus icon will allow you to create a new count 7 After pushing the plus icon on the previous screen you will come to this screen. Here you can name your count. Pushing the play button icon will start a count with no scope for all items. Pushing the arrow icon will take you to another screen where you can define a scope as well as other options for the count Solution Center Demonstration Template 5

6 8 After pushing the arrow icon on the previous screen you will arrive here Here you can put an extended description to the count and then push the arrow icon for the next screen 9 These are a couple of options for a using specific line of business applications that Point Inventory is already integrated with Push the arrow icon for next screen Solution Center Demonstration Template 6

7 10 Here you can set a scope or pre-defined cycle count Select a tag such as a department or category and push the play button icon. This is the final step in creating a scoped/cycle count 11 You are now ready scan barcodes Scan a barcode, this will most likely not pull an item up as you are not going to have the same barcodes that are in this system. After scanning it will give you an option to attach this code to an existing item, you can do that if you would like and then anytime you scan this code going forward the item will be pulled up. 8 There are two ways to scan items in 1) quickscan 2) standard scan. The application is set to standard as default 12 Options for scanning Quickscan- each scan adds a quantity of one to the count Standard- each scan takes you to a quantity entry screen where you enter the quantity 13 This icon will take you into the purchase order module Push the icon and you will be taken into the PO module Solution Center Demonstration Template 8

9 14 Once in the purchase order module you have some options You have a couple of options here- 1) select an open purchase order to receive it 2) push the + icon to create a new order 15 Once you open a purchase order you have some options The arrow down icon will receive the complete order, you can also do a receive by scanning the items in. This also supports a partial receive and will keep the purchase order open until fully received. Once you have received the purchase order you can commit by pushing the check mark icon, this will commit the purchase order and increment your inventory quantities Solution Center Demonstration Template 9

10 16 When you are in the purchase order module you have some setting options Quick scan operates in the same way as previsouly described. Scan puts you into scan mode where you can scan to receive the items contained within the purchase order Label printing is available on the live version- this allows you to print labels for all of the items received from the purchase order to a mobile label printer 17 One major piece to this system that is not contained within the demo is the cloud based control panel This is where you manage your counts, your counters, the devices and your items. From here you can view your count details and export your count to a line of business application.
