3 Overview Arch G1 is now integrated with Bizerba KH II 400 Scale. This development allows the retailer the advantage to add multiple scale products to a single QR scale label which in return is scanned on the Arch G1 POS systems to load all the relevant products on the POS. The aim of this user guide is to ensure that the user understands how to setup and configure Arch G1 for Arch/Bizerba implementation. Prerequisites The Arch Technicians will assist in setting up the Scale and required settings in ARCH G1. The following are important for the implementation. 1. Arch V or higher needs to be installed. 2. 2D Enabled scanner 3. 4 QR Code Example Please note this is only an example. If attendants for example will not be used then this field does not need to be captured. Same applies to the prefix value. This value must just be the same as the prefix value set on the scale. 5 System settings The Arch Technicians will assist in settings to enable QR Code scanning. The following settings are important for the QR Code scanning. PLU Settings PLU settings have to be captured in Arch to enable the scanned QR code to read correctly on the Arch POS. QR Code Structure Select the QR Code Structure button to capture the structure details. Document Version 1.1 Table of Contents Page 5 of 9

6 Prefix The digits or characters the QR code will begin with. Header: Number of digits The total number of digits for attendant and total price excluding the prefix. (As per above example 11 digits) Item: Number of digits The total number of digits for product code, weight, weight decimal and product price. (As per above example 21 digits). 7 POS Transactions The functionality is applicable to the Arch G1 Touch screen and Keyboard POS. Touch Screen Transactions Start a new transaction on the Arch POS. Scan the QR code on the 2D enabled scanner. The user will be able to see the QR code populating on screen as it loads all the products. When the QR code has finished loading the QR Product screen will be displayed showing the quantity captured, the product and the total price of that product. The green correct mark shows that the product loaded is a valid item. A red cross will be shown for an item that does not exist in the system. Document Version 1.1 Table of Contents Page 7 of 9

8 When selecting Continue the products will be loaded onto the Arch POS and another QR code can be scanned or any other items added to the sale. If Cancel is selected the screen will close without loading the products. Keyboard Transactions Start a new transaction on the Arch POS. Scan the QR code on the 2D enabled scanner. The user will be able to see the QR code populating on screen as it loads all the products. When the QR code has finished loading the QR Product screen will be displayed showing the quantity captured, the product and the total price of that product. 9 The green correct mark shows that the product loaded is a valid item. A red cross will be shown for an item that does not exist in the system. When pressing Enter to Continue the products will be loaded onto the Arch POS and another QR code can be scanned or any other items added to the sale.
