2 Bringing it all to life Colour palette for social media This set is the recommended palette. The Primary colours are to be used for fonts; the top two greens should be your first choice for blurbs. Reach for secondary colours only when necessary and some colour variation is allowed. 3 Bringing it all to life Font type and sizes for social media When Maxis goes social, (social media, that is) we retain the services of Aaux Next Medium, SemiBold and Bold. Point sizes vary between 30 and 90 pt, depending on the visual idea and the limitations of that particular media. Medium SemiBold Bold Aaux Next Aaux Next Aaux Next

4 Bringing it all to life Font type special cases Special fonts are permissible for festive and other special occasions. All you need to remember is, Squiggle sits firmly and comfortably on the bottom right of the visual.

5 Squiggle - Dos and don ts Squiggle is comfortable only in one angle, shown here. Use Squiggle s bottom half only, and only ever at this angle. When attached to a shape, it is called a Squiggle Shape. Example 1 This is good. Example 2 Nope. Please do not rotate. Thank you.

6 Bringing it all to life Squiggle Shape on Facebook cover photo If you keep in mind the general rules of Squiggle Shape, then placement in areas such as the Facebook cover photo should be fairly simple to execute. Just ensure that the background does not upstage the Squiggle Shape. Facebook

7 Bringing it all to life Squiggle Shape on social media When Squiggle Shape appears in say, a YouTube or Twitter cover photo then simply make sure that the background isn t loud and does not drown out Squiggle Shape. Twitter YouTube

8 Squiggle colour on dark and light background For social posts, use only Squiggle, not Squiggle Shape. Always use a green Squiggle unless it cannot be seen on the visual. In this case, you can use the white Squiggle.

9 Squiggle size and placement on social media Facebook photo post This is the exact dimension for a Facebook photo post and the Squiggle size, so please stick with this. This size can also be applied to: - Facebook Carousel - Facebook Slideshow - Google +

10 Facebook photo post - partial circle When posting on social media, Squiggle occupies the lower right corner. Always. Special icons may be used (refer to visual on the right) but it must always be in green. Headline should be placed in a partial circle. It is not advisable to use a full circle because it obstructs the main image unless it is used in a frame for a GIF or video file. Please refer to the next page for an example of this.

As Twitter may crop part of the visual, from left, right or the middle (only in mobile view), Squiggle should sit in a safe area to avoid this though it may look a little awkward on desktop.
