3 1. Welcome to the New KN Login! Welcome to KN Login: Kuehne + Nagel s Logistics Information solution, powering Web Solutions, EDI integration, and Analytical Reporting. KN Login provides reliable, secure solutions for customers, allowing streamlined visibility, monitoring and information management that drives efficient transportation, order and inventory flows. We have enhanced the look and feel of KN Login to provide you with a more efficient and intuitive online experience. We have also upgraded the underlying technology to ensure optimal performance and increased responsiveness to your logistics information needs. The purpose of this document is to help you navigate within the new KN Login. 2. Support The complete KN Login User Manual is available for download from KN Login help sections (once signed-in with your user name and password). Additional support for KN Login is available through any of the Kuehne + Nagel offices worldwide. Visit our home page at to obtain contact information for the closest Kuehne + Nagel office. 3. Access KN Login To access KN Login, direct your browser to and enter your user name and password as usual. Page 3 of 10

4 4. Logout of KN Login To log out of KN Login, select KN Portal Services from the header menu, then select Log Out from the drop-down menu. You can also end your session by closing your browser. Clicking on the corner securely logs you out of KN Login. button in the top right 5. Header Menu The menu system, located on the top of each KN Login page, allows you to navigate between KN Login modules. To activate the menu simply hover your mouse on the required menu item and select one of the available choices. Your menu choices are dependent on your granted user rights. Page 4 of 10

Navigation Menu The Navigation Menu is created dynamically as you navigate through KN Login and is located directly underneath the Header Menu as well as at the bottom of every page you visit. This menu provides information as to where you are located within KN Login. Clicking on a menu item underlined allows you jump back to previous categories in the sequence without using a back key. For your convenience, we have assigned reference numbers to all web pages in KN Login. When talking to your account representative, you can refer to the screen title (Shipment View) or the web page number (87) in the above example. Page 5 of 10

6 8. Lookup Sidebars The pop-up windows for selecting values (such as port of departure and destination) have been replaced with lookup sidebars. To open a lookup sidebar, click on the designated icon ( ), where it is available. 9. Drill-down to Next Level KN Login now has a dedicated icon to direct user to view additional information, if such information is available. To drill down, simply click on the icon In some cases, a hyperlink under one or more of the values will offer the same functionality. 10. Dynamic Table Sorting The new release of KN Login offers an option to sort the columns of certain tables. To sort a column in either ascending or descending order, simply click on the column header. An arrow in the column header indicates the sort direction. The column header by which the table is sorted always appears in a darker color. Page 6 of 10

7 11. Show/Hide Information The detail screens in KN Login offer extensive information including shipment details, dates, references and images. To hide a complete section on an active page click on the Collapse icon. To show the section again, click on the Expand button. KN Login offers the flexibility to show either physical cargo movement statuses or both physical and information cargo movement statuses. To show documentation and information flow statuses tick the Show information flow box in the My Profile section. 12. Active Customer Change (ACP) If you have user rights to work with more than one profile (for example, when your company has multiple divisions or business units) you may need to switch between profiles to view profile-specific information. To switch between profiles, click on the Change ACP link on the KN Login Home. You can also use a < Ctrl Alt A >shortcut to switch between profiles. Page 7 of 10

8 13. My Profile The My Profile date setting format is not applicable for the search screens. Please follow the DD MMM YYYY date format or select the date from the sidebar calendar. Page 8 of 10
