1 Kwikmark Windows Software Suite Features & Highlights Dozens of Enhanced Functions Cloning is one of the many time saving and machine streamlining features that are included in the kwikpro control package View Edit and Simulate In addition to the hundreds of text routines, you may create a logo directly in the software or just import from your.dxf.plt or G-Code files. A play button simulates drawing the pattern Visual Tag Layout Screen Import images of your tags directly into software and use them for a template. No more fussy measuring & layout work required. Windows Server Control your system(s) from a remote PC and automatically send external variable data from other files such as data bases, spreadsheets, etc. Controls marking your products when multiple machines are used, for serializing, so that no redundant numbers can appear. Fully Exploded Graphics All imported files are exploded and converted into G- Code automatically. This allows editing, scaling, etc, directly in our software. Selecting a line in the text portion of the screen will change the color of the corresponding entity in the graphic. Clicking on any entity will highlight the corresponding text line for simple editing.

3 Move Commands Add move lines with the click of a mouse, to miss obstructions on your part, such as gussets, pins, etc. Convenient Preferences Easily set the work environment to best suit your individual screen and setting preferences. Re-Ordering Lines Any of the lines may be re ordered on the screen to control the machine path. This feature also includes graphics, bar codes, move lines, etc.

4 Fixture Files streamline setting up your production Clone Fixture For marking multiple fixtured parts in a step & repeat mode. Simply enter the rows & column information, and the machine will mark each part following a serpentine pattern. Any of the positions may be omitted. Commands may be entered to execute before and after the cycle. Rotary Fixture For marking around cylindrical parts by turning them. Just enter the diameter and the rotary fixture will wrap any text, graphics, etc in perfect proportion around your part. May be used to mark round parts with files that were created for flat parts too! Commands may be entered to execute before and after the cycle. Index Fixture For marking flats on multi-sided objects by indexing the part. Just enter the number of sides and the size. Each line in the marking file may be set to automatically mark on any flat of the part Any number of sides may be used! Commands may be entered to execute before and after the cycle. Custom Step and Repeat Patterns A CAD file export (DXF or PLT) may be used to generate any random step and repeat pattern for cloning the engraving path at a limitless number of locations. The file based system also tracks & writes the last position processed, to allow resuming your production from the next position if powered off.

5 Fixture Mode Display Conveniently display the fixture file with the marking file to proportionally show the image as it will be marked on your parts. Fixture files and marking files are independent. Any marking file may be run on a fixture file. Powerful Optimization Function BEFORE A Raw DXF logo file exported from AutoCAD. Minimal optimization results in excessive and random motion path and uncontrolled positioning. AFTER The marking process is streamlined (over 97% optimization) with minimal moves. Look Ahead feature connects all points for continuous contouring. This results in a cleaner mark with shorter cycle times. Compression Tools Easily fit text within a desired area regardless of shape. Supports straight, angular and arc text modes. Includes hot key tools. Graphics Flexibility Graphics become files that may be downloaded (similar to a font file). This means if a logo changes, and hundreds of files use it, only the graphic file needs to be updated.

6 Scan to Layout Feature Machine parts, tags etc may be scanned and their images imported into the software along with the following supported files:.bmp.jpg.wmf.ico.emf.rle.gif Multiple Setting Combinations Easy to setup for starting positions, homing routines, modes of operation. 6 axis control support and extra I/O can handle any automated application. External Machine Interface Bar code scanner interface is included and may be configured for different modes of operation. External inputs may be used to trigger selected jobs from the machine s Compact Flash Card. Commands and Functions Any of the supported commands may be input at different parts of the machine cycle. EX: Turn on outputs to clamp a part at the beginning of the job, and then turn off at the end.

7 Font Types for all Marking A selection of fonts is included to satisfy any marking requirement Stick fonts provide straight lines for speed. Dot fonts are comprised of a 5x7 matrix of dots and eliminate raising material surface. Radius fonts provide a traditional look. Visual Index Fixture Display The View Fixture mode displays the flats of a multi-sided part such as this hex by unwrapping to streamline the setup process. Just type the information on the desired flat. The cylindrical attachment will automatically index the proper amount of degrees. Visual Rotary Fixture Display The View Fixture mode displays the diameter as a flat by unwrapping it to streamline the setup process. Example at left shows the dark screen (marking field) representing a 2 inch diameter part unwrapped to 6.28 long. Coordinate Translation ABC123 ABC123 Rotates the entire marking image on the machine to match to your part / tooling for perfect line-up. DESIRED IMAGE ON PART IMAGE FILE AS CREATED PART POSITIONED ON MACHINE (Skewed) Ideal if the fixture holding your part is not square to the machine, or the part has an awkward surface. This is ideal when marking products on different levels and into recessed pockets. This option enables the entire column travel to be programmable. Dynamic Numerical Incrementing Using the Function keys, each line s numerical property such as: Position, Font Height, Arc, Angle, Scale, etc, may be incremented with the below key sequence: F1 = F2 = F3 =.100 F4 =.010 F5 =.001 Windows Software Development Kit With the optional WSDK, custom Front End control applications are a snap. 9 Communicate to External Devices Convenient data port allows communicating to external devices with ASCII commands to control instruments, send information, etc. Supports standard protocol and includes M commands to integrate directly into a marking file!
