4 Install Teseo Suite 4 Teseo-Suite is a powerful PC Tool able to manage the ST Teseo II and Teseo III GNSS solutions. Teseo Suite has two flavors: Light available on (with limited features) Pro on st-teseo-suite-support Download and install the Teseo Suite version selected

5 Install VCP Driver 5 ST s Teseo II and Teseo III GNSS solutions can be connected to a PC using the USB port through the USB-To-UART bridge You need to install the ST Teseo II and ST Teseo III VCP Driver. It can be downloaded here: SiliconLabs or FTDIChip

6 Start application 6 On application start-up the Configuration Session panel is shown Push Add Device button to add a new entry

7 Configuration Device 7 Set the Hardware type: STA8090 Set the GNSS Device Name: EVB-T Enable Add Control Port 4 Set the Protocol: NMEA 4 5 Set the Port Name: according to the discovered on the PC Configure the port as following table: Baud rate Data Bits Stop Bits Parity Handshake 500 bps 8 Bits Bit none none 7 Click-on the Ok button 7

8 Connect the device 8 In the Configuration Session panel a new entry (row) is shown Enable Connect Ctrl port Click-on the Connect all button

9 Inspect Device 9 Click-on View Monitor button in the menu-bar NMEA Decoding panel is shown NMEA Stream can be viewed and inspected

10 Disconnect the device 0 In the Configuration Session panel entry (row) Click-on the Disconnect button

13 Send commands In the Nmea Decoding panel 4 Write the command in the text-edit entry Click-on the Send button to raise the command to the device Inspect the replay message in the NMEA Stream 4

14 Filter the message list 4 In the Nmea Decoding panel Select the messages you want Refresh the new message-list into the device

15 Map view 5 Click-on Map View button in the menu Inspect the position in the Map View panel

16 Click-on Signal Level View button in the menu Signal Levels 6 The Signal level panel reports all the details for all the seen satellites

17 Record a NMEA Log session 7 To start log session, click-on Start/Stop Record Control Port button in the menu (button turns red) To stop a log session, click-on Start/Stop Record Control Port button in the menu (button turns white)

18 Play a NMEA Log session [/4] 8 Click-on Player button in the menu (the Logfile Toolbar panel will appear) Click-on Play button in the Logfile Toolbar (the Open dialog will appear)

19 Play a NMEA Log session [/4] 9 In the Open dialog select the log to play Click-on Open

20 Play a NMEA Log session [/4] 0 In the Select the NMEA payload folder based on the GNSS IC used In the ConfigPayloadNMEA.xml file Push Open

21 Play a NMEA Log session [4/4] In the Logfile Toolbar panel all the buttons are enabled and you can start, stop, rewind the log as a standard tape

24 Teseo Suite Pro ONLY Update Bootloader and GNSSLib 4 Open Teseo II (T) or Teseo III (T) X-Loader from menu Select the binary file from file-system Select COM Port and the baud-rate 4 Click-on Start to update 4

25 Update GNSS-Lib 5 Open Firmware Upgrade tool Select the binary file from file-system Select COM Port and the baud-rates 4 Click-on Start to update the GNSS-Lib 4

26 Teseo Suite Pro ONLY Firmware configuration [/] 6 Select FW Configuration panel in the menu Select the target to be configured (Connected device in the example) Click-on Ok

27 Teseo Suite Pro ONLY Firmware configuration [/] 7 Expand the CDB-ID number under configuration Select the specified field under configuration Enable the field and/or set the right value (Galileo constellation is enabled in the example) 4 Apply the change to the device 4
