It lso contins: here re two encoders on the IP Crt. Ech encoder is 4 counts/revolution or 496 counts/revolution in qudrture. here is one encoder on the Seesw_E odule. his encoder is 4 counts/revolution or 496 counts/revolution in qudrture. here is one encoder on the LFJC-E odule. his encoder is 4 counts/revolution or 496 counts/revolution in qudrture. 3 SeeFle-E (With Encoders) Configurtion he SeeFle-E configurtion is depicted in Figure. Connect the LFJC(-PEN)-E odule to the IP with the setscrews supplied. he IP syste should be plced on top of the Seesw-E so tht the Seesw-E instruented fulcru ger is fcing the se side s the IP nd LFJC(-PEN)-E pinions, for eple towrds you. he dditionl ss tht is supplied with your IP SHOULD NO BE AACHED for this eperient. he sple controller provided is designed to operte without it. You y dd the weight to lter the syste dynics. In the cse of the SeeFle-E configurtion, s shown in Figure, the IP Drive Crt Position is esured vi Encoder Chnnel # (i.e., ENC#). he LFJC(-PEN)-E Drive Crt Position is esured vi Encoder Chnnel # (i.e., ENC#). he Seesw-E Angle is esured vi Encoder Chnnel # (i.e., ENC#). Attch cble fro "o Lod" of the UPM to the otor of the driving crt (i.e., IP). Drive the "Fro D/A" of tht power odule fro D/A # (DAC#) on the Q4 or Q8. Using the 5-pin DIN cbles supplied, connect the cbles ppropritely. SeeFle (With Potentioeters) Configurtion he SeeFle configurtion is depicted in Figure. OPERAION: With the coputer OFF, ensure tht the Q4 (or other DAC) is properly instlled in the PC. urn the coputer ON. urn the Power Module ON. Ensure ll cbles re properly connected. Ensure tht the red LED (Light Eitting Diode) on the Q4 or Q8 erinl Bord is lit. If it is not lit, you ust check the sll green (or yellow) fuse tht is locted on the erinl Bord. Replce it s required.
