2 Mounting: Warning Before mounting the SDFloppy II make sure that you have to turn off the main power to the computer!!! Open the computer cover and locate the disk controller.if connected drive is on it, carefully remove this interface cable and connect the cable to the SDFloppy II drive as had shown in the diagram. Warning Verify that highlighted in red end on the cable corresponds to 1 pin of DISK II Controller. Wrong connection may damage both your computer and SDFloppy II

3 Front Panel : SD Card : Standard SD Card with.dsk image files. Activity LED: Light when the SD Floppy II is active. IMAGE INDICATOR: Normally indicates the current image number (0-F), if flashes indicates the error number (see appendix ERROR). Right down dot. on 7 Seg LED indicates if there is a movement of the floppy head. Write LED : Lights when a Write on SD Card. IMAGE BUTTON: Press this button if you want to change image number, if you hold this button more that 1 second auto repeat execute. EJECT/RESTORE : if you press this button, the contents of the temporary file (which is created when inserting a new card or a new DSK file) it has copied and converted to the appropriate.dsk format and you can be used it by emulator. If you hold the button more than 1 second it creates a new temporary file, but then you will lose any changes at your work if you have not pressed EJECT button before

4 SD Card Structure: It is recommended to create a directory structure on your hard drive and then copy to SD Card. Format the SD card and then copy the files to it. Create a folder "0","1","2" "A","B".."F", and copy into valid DSK files (before it you can test them with an emulator) one in each folder. By placing the SD card in the SDfloppy II will automatically check the availability of the files and make a list so that when you press the IMAGE CHANGE button will automatically switch between valid image folders. For example, if you have valid DSK files in 1.2 and 5 folder then when you press Image Change Button will change the display from 1->2->5->1->2->5... File Structure : ROOT ->\0\GAME.DSK \1\GAME1.DSK \2\GAME2.DSK... \F\SOMEAPPLICATION.DSK Remark: Check file structure in card you received. Firmware Update: SDfloppy II is capable to update firmware via SD Card. Turn off power on computer, insert in SDfloppy II a blank SD card formatted with FAT16 containing update.dsk file has received from manufacturer. Press and hold both buttons simultaneously on the front panel and turn on the power. If everything is correctly, on the front panel displayed U and starts flashing the lower right dot. on display. At the completion of the update, display show - on the screen. If a problem occurs it is displayed ERR ERR and error number. You can check Firmware Version as you by turning of the power,hold Change IMAGE button and turn on the power. Display will show Firmware version like this U1 U1.4 MEGA

5 Errors on Firmware Update : 0. Never appears. 1. Error initializing Card. Explanation: Damaged or missing card. Solution: Check SD Card on computer, if it is ok try again with different SD Card manufacturer. But no all of them are is compatible with SD Floppy II. ( preferred is Kingston and Sandisk ) 2. Error opening file Explanation: Invalid or corrupted.dsk file Solution: Copy valid.dsk file on SD Card. 3. Error update flash memory on microcontroller Explanation: May be there is a trouble with your SD Floppy II controller Solution: Try again, if it is not successfully contact with manufacturer. 4. Invalid update File Explanation: Update file is corrupt. Solution: Change update file or copy again on SD Card. 5. Invalid CRC Explanation: Update file is different or corrupt. Solution: Change update file or copy again on SD Card. Appendix Main Errors : Flashing IMAGE LED indicates that there is an error. Here's a description of possible errors : 0. Never appears
