3 1. G-music Overview 5V Power Amplifier music 3.5mm Aux SPDIF WiFi G-music is a wireless audio receiver, which supports Apple ios AirPlay/DLNA/QPlay wireless audio transmission protocols. It turns your traditional docking speakers and HiFi home theater sound systems into a wireless speaker system. You can enjoy your favourite music wirelessly streamed from your smartphone/tablet/laptop/pc. 2

4 What kind of devices and Apps can be used? G-music supports streaming music from Apple ios devices (iphone, ipad, ipad mini, ipod Touch, Mac), Android devices(smartphone, Tablet) and Windows(Smartphone, Laptop, PC). And it supports most Apps with AirPlay/DLNA/QPlay, includes but not limited to the following players: 1) ios: AirPlay 2) Android: QQ music BubbleUPnP imediashare 3) PC: Airfoil itunes Windows Media Player 12 Note: a.your devices should have built-in WiFi and installed Apps which supporting DLNA/AirPlay/QPlay protocols. b. On Apple ios devices, all the voices can be streamed to this G-music even if you are watching a movie. While from Android/Windows ios only the music can be output. c. For Android devices, you need to set the DLNA as On status on the related Apps. 3

5 Enjoying Wireless Music Anywhere - Home, office, even in Your Car! It can be connected to your Mobile Devices/Laptop/PC directly via WiFi and play local music of your device; or can be connected with internet WiFi hotspot and play local/online music, no matter when you are at home or in office, even if you are in your car! Supporting multi-user and switch user freely Support multi-user/device connecting to G-music at same time, but only one can stream the music to this device at a time. If you want, you can switch user/device freely. You can share G-music and favourite music with your families and friends wirelessly. Note: we suggest not connect more than 10. Cheerfully streaming experience depends on persons your network bandwidth. 4

6 Extending your existing WiFi signal and range as a WiFi bridge The G-music can be easily connected to your existing home WiFi network. Once connected, it will extend the WiFi signal wherever it is placed. It is also accessible by any devices connected to your home WiFi network including G-music. Which means any device, anywhere in WiFi range of your home, can stream music to this G-music. You are also able to browse the internet at the same time as streaming audio to the this G-music. 5

8 3. Get the G-music work 1) Connect a 5V, 0.5A~3A power supply to the G-music via its micro USB port to power it on. (No power button designed) 2) Connect this device to your sound equipment via an audio output cable. 3) Connect your ios and/or Android/Windows devices to this G-music via WiFi. 3.1 Connecting with the G-music via WiFi Enter your device Settings WLAN search and connect to the SSID of this device, which default as G-music-xxxxxx.(Note: this SSID may be changed by users) 7

9 3.2 Bridge to internet via this G-music Operate on Web: - Input on your device s browser to enter the Web page of G-music while it s connected by WiFi. - Click <Internet Connection> button, then turn on the <Wireless access>, it will auto scan the surrounding WiFi hotspot, then choose the available one to connect. Enter a password if needed. After that, this device will be auto rebooted and will be connected to the chosen WiFi hotspot. You ll see the chosen WiFi Hotspot was ticked if connected successfully. 8

10 See demo below: G-music_A002E Operate on APP: Open G-music APP Setting Internet Connection Settings Turn on < Wireless>, it will auto scan the surrounding WiFi hotspot, then choose an available one to connect, enter the password if needed. After that, this device will be auto rebooted and will be connected to the chosen WiFi hotspot. You ll see the chosen WiFi Hotspot was ticked if connected successfully. 9

11 4. Two connection methods supported by G-music 4.1 Direct Mode (Internet Relay Mode) A) Connect your Smart phone or other devices to the WiFi hotspot of G-music to streaming music. B) Bridge to internet via G-music to enabling all the connected devices access to internet. SPDIF 10 10

12 4.2 Peer mode (LAN connection mode) A) After your smartphone was connected to this G-music set the G-music connecting to a router. B) Disconnect your smartphone and this G-music, then connect your smartphone to that router,now this G-music and your smartphone can both access to the internet via that router. Note: The default password of G-music is blank, you can set your own password and SSID. 11

13 5. Install App 5.1 ios URL QR code ios devices searching A+Music in the App Store Please choose iphone only when download by ipad. 5.2 Android Android devices searching related App, for example, imediashare in the Play Store. 12 URL QR code

14 6. Streaming music 6.1 Music format supported for Android devices. MP3 56~256kbps WMA 48~192kbps WAV 512kbps ACC/M4A 365kbps~376kbps FLAC WMP,nonsupport, APE\AC3 WMP\BubbleUpnp,nonsupport, To ensure streaming music successfully, please make sure the music format is mentioned above and your music player supports the related music format. 6.2 ios streaming music ios 7/iOS 8 Please follow the above setting steps and connect with G-music properly. Pulling up the screen from bottom to top under any interface to pump up the shortcut menu, tick AirPlay, choose G-music as the audio player device, then all the voice from this ios device will be streamed to this G-music. 13

16 6.2.2 ios 6 Please follow the above setting steps and make the G-music connection properly. Quickly press HOME button twice to active the taskbar,sliding to the left you ll see the icon of AirPlay tap to choose G-music as the audio player device. Note: Only ios5 and later versions support Airplay. G-music All the voices from ios devices will be outputted to this G-music. 15

17 6.3 Streaming music from Android Any APP which supports the DLNA QPlay transmission protocol is able to transmit voice to this G-music. We take imediashare for example. 1) Following the previous steps to connect Android devices and G-music properly. 2) Download & install imediashare. 3) Run imediashare choosing a song from MY MUSIC, CHOOSE A SCREEN window will pump up. Choosing G-music as the music player device to streaming music from Android devices to this G-music. G-music 16

18 6.4 Windows Laptops/PCs Any APP which supports the DLNA-QPlay transmission protocol is able to transmit voiceto this G-music from your Windows laptops/pcs. We take itunes" for example itunes 1) Download and open itunes. Connect your PC to G-music through Wi-Fi. 2) After connection, tap to choose G-music on the itunes interface, then all the voices from this ios device will be outputted to G-music. 2 G-music

19 7. Restore to factory settings If you forgot the password or encounter any system breakdown, you can restore this G-music to the factory settings. Under the power-on state-hold the reset button for over 5 seconds,wifi light will stay normal after flashing three times G-music will be restored to factory settings after 20 seconds. 8.
