2 Thank you for choosing ScriptCast Pro Enterprise! ScriptCast Pro is powered by the popular EZCast Pro app and brings new dual Wi-Fi, supporting 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. It is the most advanced Wi-Fi Display device and supports most Wireless display standards, such as Miracast, DLNA and AirPlay. Furthermore, ScriptCast Pro offers Multimedia decoding. PDF/Office Viewer, Web browser, Real object projection (Live camera), as well as advanced split screen control. It also comes embedded with 10M/100M Ethernet, which provides stable connection and easier setup steps. The USB port supports HID devices and USB flash disks. In addition, the extended control port helps you control projectors or other devices simultaneously. Regular firmware updates bring the latest features and ensure your ScriptCast device remains compatible with the latest OS platforms. ScriptCast Pro Enterprise is the best solution for large meeting rooms, classrooms and conferences. 1. What is included with ScriptCast Pro Enterprise? ScriptCast Pro Enterprise x1 Antenna x2 5V-1.5A DC adapter with cable x1 VGA cable x1 HDMI cable x1 Audio out cable x1 UART cable x1 Quick Start Guide x1 2. Hardware Installation Use the 5V-1.5A DC adapter to power up ScriptCast Pro Enterprise. Plug the HDMI or VGA cable to your TV or Projector. We also suggest connecting the RJ-45 port with your router to simplify setup procedures and ensure a stable Internet connection.

LED Indication The four LED lights on the front of the ScriptCast Pro Enterprise indicate the working status of the product as follows: 2.4G: Stays on while n 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi is working 5G: Stays on while ac 5Ghz Wi-Fi is working LAN: Turns on when LAN port is connected DC: Power on/off indication

4 4. App Installation For ios and Android users: Please install EZCast Pro from your Apple App Store or Google Play. You can also download the app from our official website: *Supports ios9 and Android 4.2 above Windows and Mac OS users: Please download it from our official website: *Supports Windows 7/8.1/10, and Mac OS and beyond. Please also note that OS support may change along with future OS update without notification in advance. 5. Getting Started Go to your Wi-Fi setting, find the SSID (ProBox_xxxxxxxx/ProBox5G_xxxxxxxx, or Pro B02_xxxxxxxx/Pro B02-5G_xxxxxxxx) and connect with it. Dev refers to the device s host name - you can change it in the settings later. You may connect ScriptCast Pro Enterprise s 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi with different devices but they are under different subnet. Open the EZCast Pro app on your device. Once you have connected to ScriptCast Pro Enterprise the screen will display how many devices are linked to it directly. (See top right hand corner)

5 If there is any new Firmware available, the updated icon will be shown on your device. The Miracode is a direct IP link shortcut. You can turn it off in administrator mode later. The main screen may change based on the different connecting methods (direct or via router) There may be another 4 digits CastCode, which is a display gate keeper to let users who can see this code to cast content. 6. App starts *Please note that the below photos are based on ios version Discover device Input IP or Miracode to link manually Work in offline mode Click the EZCast Pro icon and select the device you would like to cast, if there are more than one connected. Have in mind that some functions that require internet connection are unavailable in offline mode. *Note: EZCast Pro app only works with ScriptCast Pro hardware. It is not compatible with standard ScriptCast products.

6 Important: Wi-Fi connection mode information ScriptCast Pro devices allow various connection methods: SoftAP mode: This is a direct link from PC/Mobile Phone/Tablet to a ScriptCast Pro device. You can connect to ScriptCast Pro s SSID directly to discover it. You can also setup ScriptCast Pro s Wi-Fi to connect to your router to provide an internet connection. *Note: After setting up your Internet, sometimes the connection between ScriptCast Pro and your mobile phone might disconnect because of different Wi-Fi router channels. Please remember to reconnect again. Infrastructure mode allows you to connect to ScriptCast Pro Enterprise through a router instead of SoftAP mode. However, in this mode, the performance may not be as good as through direct connection and you will need to enter the settings for it manually in order to be enabled. There are 2 special modes for Wi-Fi connections in our advanced setting, one is Direct link only and the other is Via Router only. In Direct Link Only mode, you will not be able to discover ScriptCast Pro through your home router. Under Via Router Only mode, the Pro device will shut down Soft AP (SSID). The

7 SSID will be turned off so that no one can search for it directly to prevent hacker attack. Please be careful as you will need to connect the device through the router under this mode. Direct Link: This provides best bandwidth between your Smart devices/pc and ScriptCast Pro Via Router Allowed: You will be able to discover ScriptCast Pro through home router if you have established the connection with router. Via Router Only: In this mode, the SoftAP of 2.4Ghz/5Ghz Wi- Fi will be turned off, you can use it so that no one can link to ScriptCast Pro directly.

8 7. App Tips Once connected you can cast your multimedia data wirelessly. Please note that features that require internet connection, such as cloud video or web browser, are unavailable in offline mode Please note EZMirror (Miracast) mode will disconnect current Wi-Fi and you will need to connect to the internet by your phone (3G or Wi-Fi) if you want to keep surfing the internet. 8. App Features *Please note that the below screenshots are based on the EZCast ios app Photo You will have to allow ScriptCast Pro to share your camera roll and enable the location service before using the Photo function.

9 In Photo viewer, you can select a photo to be displayed on your TV/Projector. You can also use gesture control to zoom in/out or change photos. The Sketch tool feature enables you to annotate/ draw on the photo in different colours and thicknesses, then save the changed image. Video There are 2 sources to video streaming: You can sync the video you want through itunes (itunes File Syncing) You can also select a video from your recorded video (Camera Roll)

10 Please note ios will compress the recorded video before streaming to save bandwidth. You have the option to save the video in ScriptCast Pro app for future use. You can also sync a subtitle file to ScriptCast Pro via itunes. Make sure the filename is the same as the video and sync. The subtitles will automatically show when the video is playing. For subtitles, we support srt, smi, ssa and cdg formats with UTF-8 coding. For subtitle support, please see demo video: Music The music player allows you to stream music through Wi-Fi. Playlists are also supported. Live Camera Live camera is a real object camera which allows you to stream a mobile device s

11 camera, and take a snap shot to edit. You can adjust the image quality or switch from Front/Rear camera. You can also enable Sketch and save the current image to album. Document The document viewer can support MS-office, PDF, and Apple iworks. Before you start casting, please remember to sync the document files to your ios device through itunes. The document viewer also supports sketch. Therefore, you can make notes on the document, and save the page to the camera roll. * Please note some documents may not be displayed the same as shown on your PC. Web EZCast Pro comes with a built-in browser and several popular websites categorised.

12 The web page will dynamically change depending on your country settings. The Sketch function is also supported. Cloud Storage Cloud Storage provides a link to your personal Dropbox and Google Drive accounts to let you access your cloud storage from anywhere. All content will be shown for you to download and display. You can enable sketch function if you download and decode a document file

13 Split Screen and Host Control The first user of the app automatically becomes the Host. The Host has the authority to control the display and can use all features without limitation. Subsequent users will be treated as Guests and will have limited functionality under Guest mode. Guests will need to gain Host s permission to display to the TV or projector. EZCast Pro software will allow maximum 4 users to display on screen together. The Host will, then, decide the relative position he/she wants on the screen. Other guests screens are placed automatically after the request is allowed.

14 Preference The preferred device setting allows preferred devices to automatically show on the TV/Projector without gaining permission from the Host. AirView When the AirView function is enabled the guest will be able to see the shared screen content on their own mobile devices. This feature is particularly useful where the guest is unable to see the main screen. This function will not need the Host s permission to enable. * This feature doesn t support video or audio streaming.

15 EZBoard EZBoard allows all users to share/collaborate/edit on the same board. It can support sketch, insert photos or texts, all users can see the real-time result either on the shared screen or on their own devices * Please note EZBoard will require internet connection.

16 EZChannel Once you enter EZChannel, you can enjoy the default featured channel, either a public channel or your friend s channel. Please note some features will require logging in. You can subscribe to your channel here, review your playlists(collections) or install Chrome plug-in in the setting. * Please note this function will require internet connection. DLNA DMR DLNA is an industrial standard which allows you to stream multimedia formats through Wi-Fi/LAN In the main menu, you can also use the DLNA app to push multimedia files to the ScriptCast Pro for streaming.

17 EZMirror(Miracast, this is only available for Windows and Android) EZMirror is fully compatible with Miracast, you can click the EZMirror button in EZCast app and the receiver will be switched to Miracast mode. Once you turn it on, there will be a 60seconds countdown for your mobile phone to connect to the receiver. Please select the Miracast function in your mobile phone setting page. We also recommend you to connect your smart phone to your home network at the same time to keep internet connection. AirSetup In the settings function, you can setup ScriptCast Pro device s configurations including output resolution, change SSID password, setup router connection for internet surfing,

18 languages, EZAir modes, and turn on/off AirView/CastCode/Miracode etc. Miracode: this is a special code for IP translation for better IP protection CastCode: the admin can turn on CastCode for guests, they will need to input the 4 digit CastCode shown on screen to cast their content. This will prevent accidental interruption by any users not in the same conference room. AirDisk AirDisk allows you to play content from a USB disk inserted into the ScriptCast Enterprise. Just plug the USB storage device into the ScriptCast Pro Enterprise s USB port to access the content. * Please aware that ScriptCast Pro Enterprise only supports USB devices with max. 500mA.

19 Advanced Example: Non-admin mode (Guest/Host) Example: Administrator mode The Advanced function contains all advanced settings/control including: Conference Control, Device Management, Network setup, Admin Setup, Host Authority control, Add CA and Access Control or Reboot and Upgrade FW. The default password is , and you should change it when logging in for the first time. *Important! Please be careful and keep the new password safe. For security reasons, if you forget your password, the only way to reset it is to contact us. Link Status You can check all connected devices status here. Conference Control (Default for Host/Admin only) Conference control allows the Host/administrator to run a conference and control which wireless devices are displayed to the screen. This is particularly useful for switching between multiple presentations. All devices can be disconnected at once. *Please note some special modes, like Miracast, cannot be controlled by this function.

20 Device Management (Default for Host/Admin only) You can modify device setting here, including language, device s host name (not SSID), change resolution, change EZAir mode while playing videos (only mirror or stream video), turn on/off AirDisk auto play, HDMI CEC, AirView on/off, CastCode on/off/fixed digit, Miracode on/off, as well as the maximum users connection.

21 Network Setup (Default for Admin, but can be enabled for the Host by the Administrator) You can adjust network related settings here. Please note some settings will require reboot.

22 Admin Setup (Only for Admin) You can adjust more detailed functions here, and you can also release some authorities for Host to control the device, and here are some major features descriptions. Admin Password The default password is , you will be required to change this when first logging in. *Please make sure to preserve the Administrator password carefully. Due to security reason, if you forget it or lose it, this only way to grant it is to contact us to reset it. Host Authority The admin can release some functions to the Host. If some functions are released to the host, then he/she can use them without logging in as an administrator.

23 Access Control The admin can decide if the connected devices can receive internet through the ScriptCast Pro device. Add CA for Wi-Fi enterprise (802.1x), this is for Wi-Fi Enterprise connection, consult with your MIS for the CA if needed.

24 Reboot Control (Default for Admin only, but can be released to Host) You can reboot the device if you need. Reset to Default Reset all parameters to default. You can also hold the hardware reset button for 10 seconds to reset to default if you forget admin password. About Show some device information, such as app version and others.
