The stage performance in-ear headphones deliver precise and true-to-life audio, incorporating upgraded housing materials that absorb any unnecessary vibrations during playback for smooth bass response and clear mid to high range tones. In addition, the EX series headphones feature a new ear bud design that provides a snug fit even over long periods of wear, with the option of utilizing either silicone rubber earbuds for a more secure fit or noise isolation

2 earbuds for effective reduction of ambient noise, enhancing the audio experience even in noisy environments. Featuring Sony s new Liquid Crystal Polymer film diaphragm and innovative materials, the new EX monitor line-up deliver unsurpassed sound quality that audiophiles desire, said Mr. Henry Lee, Division Managing Director, Hong Kong Marketing Company, Sony Corporation of Hong Kong Limited. In-ear headphones are highly convenient, portable, and deliver exceptional audio experience which explains the popularity. The flagship of the EX headphone range is the MDR-EX1000, which features a 16mm driver unit and liquid crystal polymer film diaphragm that deliver a crisp and clear soundstage. In addition, the new slim magnesium housing absorbs excessive sound vibration for smooth bass response, and clear mid to treble tones. To further suppress signal loss and minimize sound degradation, high grade 7N-OFC Litz cord of extreme high purity (99.99%) were used in the engineering of the headphones. The MDR-EX1000 is also specially developed to closely match the contours and curves of the ear with its over-the-ear cord design and flexible hanger. Supplied hybrid silicone rubber earbuds combined with the closed type vertical in-ear headphone shape give users a secure fit and longterm wearing comfort. Noise isolation earbuds are also supplied to effectively reduce ambient noise for uninterrupted music listening. For music enthusiasts, the MDR-EX600 features highresolution sound that is achieved through Sony s unique multiple layer diaphragm and aluminum housing that prevent headphone vibration and achieve smooth bass tones and pure mid to high range sounds. Like the MDR-EX1000, the MDR- EX600 also features a customisable design fit for users with the over-the-ear cord design and flexible hanger. The new MDR-EX510SL and MDR-EX310SL feature 13.5mm driver units which reproduce vocal and instrumental sounds in vivid clarity.
