2 -1- Thank you for choosing YEMENREN Voice Recorder. With a simple, elegant and easy-to-use design, the recorder can not only meet your daily recording needs but also be used as a high-quality MP3, offering help and bringing joy to your life; Pay attention to the following notes when using the product: a) During recoding, do not switch off the recorder; otherwise the rec file will be damaged; b) To reduce power consumption, the system adopts a default setting: auto power-off 2 minutes after nooperation; c) To protect your hearing, choose a proper volume when listening to audio files.

Quick Start 1.Switch-on: a) Push the Power key on the right side upward to switch on the recorder; b) When the recorder is powered on, press and hold the Play key to turn off or turn on it. 2. Language selection: After the recorder is powered on, press and hold the Menu key to enter settings and select your language in System Setting->Language. 3. Date and time settings: After the recorder is powered on, press and hold the Menu key to enter settings and set date and time in System Setting->Time and Date ; press and hold the Switch key to adjust the position; press / to adjust values; press the Menu key to confirm.

6 -5- A-B Repeat: a) Press the A-B key on the right side, and an A-B logo will be displayed on the screen and point A (starting point of repeat) is selected; b) Press the A-B key again, and point B (end point of repeat) is selected and the recorder repeats the record between A and B; press the A-B key again to stop repeat, and the rec file is played in normal mode; In the file play interface, press the Menu key to view the list of rec files; press the / " key to select and play the target file. 7 6. Music File Play: a) Connect the recorder to PC via a USB cable; copy songs on PC to the recorder to play music on the recorder. The music file play interface is as follows: Music File Play Logo Current Music File No./Total Music Files Name of Music File Being Played b) Press the Switch key to switch between Rec File Play and Music File Play: c) Similarly, press the Menu key to enter the play list and choose a file to play; d)press and hold / to fast forward or backward the current song; 7.Deletion In the interface of Music File Play or Rec File Play, press to delete the current or all audio files; -6-

Setting Notes In the interface of Music File Play or Rec File Play, press and hold the Menu key to enter settings under which there are four sub-options: 1.Repeat: Repeat One, Repeat All, Random, and Variable Speed; Variable Speed: The speed ranges from -8 to +8. A positive value means quick play; the larger the value is, the higher the speed is; a negative value means slow play; the smaller the value is, the lower the speed is; 2.Equalize: Six sound effects i.e. Rock, Funk, Hip-hop, Jazz, Classic, and Electronic; 3.Rec Setting: Sub-items Brief Description of Settings Rec Format MIC Sensitivity Rec Quality MP3/WAV formats; WAV is a common format with high recording quality; MP3 format is available for long-duration recording; The higher the sensitivity is, the louder the recorded sound is; 32/64/128/192Kbps for MP3 ; 512/768/1024/1536Kbps for WAV -7-

9 -8- The default duration is 60min, which Rec means a rec file with a duration of Subsection 60min is generated every 60min; this function can be disabled; VOR Voice Control Timing Rec Rec Indicator VOR Voice Control On: When the external sound reaches a certain decibel, the recorder starts recording; when it s quiet or the external sound is below a certain decibel, the recorder pauses recording; after the mode is on, a VOR logo will appear on the screen; VOR Sensitivity: There are three levels i.e. Low, Medium and High. The higher the sensitivity is, the lower the external sound is, which means the recorder can start recording; When the Timing Rec mode is on and Start Time and End Time are set, the recorder starts recording at Start Time and stops and saves recoding at End Time ; One Time or Daily are optional for Period ; The setting is similar to alarm setting on the phone. On: A indicator is on in the upper part of the screen during recording. Off: No indicator is on during recording.

The default backlight time is 30min. Please set date and time upon receiving the recorder! Three optional languages: English, Japanese and German Displaying the current available space; after the disc is full, copy rec files to PC in time; Initializing the disc and clearing all stored data; generally, do not use the function; If case of failure in rec file saving or slow operation, use the function with caution; Note: Back up rec files before formatting; Restoring factory setting without damaging rec files.
