Introduction 1.1 Purpose This guide is about to demonstrate the procedures of integrating Lotus Sametime 8.5.1/8.5.2 with IBM Case Manager 5.0.x and IBM Case Manager 5.1.x. 1.2 Scope The guide covers the general procedures to set up all necessary components of ICM and Sametime integration, including installation and configuration of Lotus Domino server, Community server, Sametime Proxy server, and the configuration of ICM server on sametime enablement. Some tips and troubleshooting are provided as well. The guide does not cover any debug or development information. 1.3 Intended Audience The target audience of the guide could be: l Enterprise IT administrator l Business Analyst l ICM developers and testers l Information Development engineer l ICM support engineers l ICM business partners 2. Overview 2.1 Background IBM Case Management (ICM) is IBM's brand-new market offering for clients to optimize case outcomes with Information, Process and People. Along with the powerful capability of operating cases, ICM also enables instant message communication for knowledge workers for better collaboration and accelerating case operation under today s flexible business environment. ICM 5.0 and 5.1 supports IBM Sametime to meet that feature and differentiate it from other offerings on the market. 2.2 Architecture of the integration This figure illustrates the basic architecture of the integration as well as the components to be involved. Go to C:\Program Files\IBM\Mashup Center\3.0\mm\config c. Replace proxy-config.xml d. Run C:\Program Files\IBM\Mashup Center\3.0\Config\config update-was-config e. Run C:\Program Files\IBM\Mashup Center\3.0\mm_profile\bin\osgiCfgInit f. Run C:\Program Files\IBM\Mashup Center\3.0\mm_profile\bin\clearClassCache g. 51 3.7.2 Verify Sametime integration in Case Client 1) Log into Case Client with P8Admin/Filenet2ecm 2) Verify sametime works for logon user 4. Troubleshooting 4.1 All LDAP users must have address 4.2 WAS Resource Environment Confirm the ST state is enabled on WAS Admin Console, and the STProxyURL is correct 1. Log into WAS Admin Console 2. Go to Resource environment providers > Mashups Endpoints > Custom properties, check the following settings com.ibm.acm.client.stproxyurl = Sametime server com.ibm.acm.client.stproxyenablestate: 0 = disable ST 1 = Enable ST, where user needs to click on the user name to enable ST 2 = Enable ST 4.3 Retrieve ST Users Type=1&cp=<ConnectionpointName> Visit above URL and make sure there is no vwexception or any other error, and save the file and open it with notepad, make sure the right username and are retrieved. 52 4.4 Sync up time/date/time zone for ICM Server, ST Server and P8 Server 4.5 SSO Configuration Make sure SSO of P8 Server WAS profile, ICM Server WAS profile and ST Proxy WAS profile take same SSO configuration: 4.6 LTPA Key Look at the ffdc log of ST Proxy profile and ICM Server profile, if there is some error there, reexport LTPA key from P8 server and reimport the new LTPA key to ST Proxy profile, ICM Server profile and Domino Server Web SSO configuration. 4.7 Sametime server is running well, but it says Samtime is temporarily unavailable error at logging into stwebclient This might be you takes different Domino server name from Organization name, you may fix this at those steps: 1) Log into Lotus Domino Administrator client, then go to Configuration tab 2) Open Server/Current Server Document Copyright IBM Corporation, 2012 Page 52 of 54

53 3) At Basics tab, make sure Server name, Domain name and Fully qualified Internet host name correct 4) At Ports tab, then Notes Network Ports tab, provide fully qualified host name at Net Address column for TCP Protocol 5) Go to C:\IBM\Lotus\Domino and open sametime.ini, provide following two lines at the end of [Debug] section VPS_BYPASS_TRUSTED_IPS=1 VP_TRACE_ALL=1 5.
