2 User Guide Setting Up 1. Connect your 3G Router /ADSL router to electricity 2. Insert your activated SIM Card in the USB and plug it in the 3G Router (In case of 3G connectivity) 3. Connect your Laptop/PC to your 3G Router to Vodafone_3G Router wirelessly and use the WAN Key -password- on the back of the router (Can also be connected through the LAN cable inside the router box) 4. To setup the IP Cam software please insert the CD provided in the IP Cam box and double click on the autorun.exe file inside it or visit to download the software 5. Press install D-view Cam Next Choose Language Accept user agreement Next Press install Finish to restart your Laptop/PC 6. Connect your IP Cam to an electricity outlet and connect the network cable inside the box to your IP Cam from one side and to one of the LAN ports in your 3G Router from the other side 7. Make sure the IP Cam LED lamp turns green 8. Press start All programs D-Link D-view Cams Main Console Create a password Click ok 9. Once the console opens click on the General settings icon System settings Press on camera tab Click search 10. Select your IP Cam(s) and take note of their IP Address (on your mobile/on a piece of paper) 11. Don t set password now to your IP Cam (it will come at a later stage in the process) Press ok Now your IP Cam is configured

3 Remote Access: Motion Detection Feature: 1.From your D-Link D-View cam main console press on General settings icon System settings Select the camera tab Press on Go to web interface 2.Enter the username without password of your IP Cam set in step 11 and press Ok 3.Click the setup tab Network setup tab In LAN settings choose Static IP Enter the IP address of the Cam in the IP address box (noted in step 10) 4.In port settings change the HTTP port from 80 to one of the following ports (1030 or 1031 or. Or 1039) and take note of your IP Cam port number chosen (Please choose a different port for each IP Cam.) 5.Right click on your computer network connection icon on your desktop taskbar Open Network and Sharing Center Double click on your access type connection Click details 6.Enter the IPv4 Default Gateway (noted from the previous step) in the default gateway on your cam 7.Enter the IPv4 DNS Servers (noted from the previous step) in the Primary DNS & Secondary DNS 8.Click Save 9.Click Maintenance Click Apply Set a new password & retype 10. Click on setup Motion Detection Enable Click Save 11. Click Mail (create a new Outlook if you don t have one) a. Insert (smtp-mail.outlook.com) in the Server Address space b. Insert (25) in the server port space c. Insert your in the Sender Address d. Receiver Address enter your private address where you want to receive notifications on e. User Name enter your Outlook address f. Password Enter the password of your Outlook address g. Choose STARTTLS 12. Time Schedule Schedule the days & time during the day in which you need to receive the motion detection alert

4 In case of ADSL a. Open your browser Router Configuration In case of 3G Router h. Open your browser 1. Press on the WPS button on the Router and confirm it blinks Press on the WPS button on your wireless IP Cam until it blinks 2. Confirm that the blinking of the WPS stops then remove the network cable between the IP Cam & the Router Now you have activated the remote access to your IP Cams 3. Open your D-Link D-View Cam Main Console Press on Camera Tab Double Click on each chosen Cam Change your LAN IP with the Static IP provided to you by Vodafone and click on save. b. Open the router management page by entering : in the URL bar c. Enter Username : vodafone Password : vodafone d. Click on advanced config e. From the left pane choose [ Advanced > NAT ] f. From the upper menu choose [ Port Forwarding ] g. Enter the following : i. From interface drop down menu select [ INTERNET_TR069_R_7_70 ] ii. Enter the port number of your IP Cam chosen in step 4 in the following boxes External start port, External end port & Internal port iii. Enter the IP of your Cam (noted in step 10) in the Internal host box iv. Enter any name you want for the IP Cam in the Forwarding name box i. Open the router management page by entering : in the URL bar j. Enter Username : support Password : support k. Click on advanced config l. From the left pane choose [ Advanced > NAT ] m. From the upper menu choose [ Port Forwarding ] n. Enter the following : i. From interface drop down menu select [ ttyusb ] ii. Enter the port number of your IP Cam chosen in step 4 in the following boxes External start port, External end port & Internal port iii. Enter the IP of your Cam (noted in step 10) in the Internal host box iv. Enter any chosen name for the IP Cam in the Forwarding name box Storage ( NVR): 1. Insert the CD provided in the NVR box or download it from Press Start Next 2. The IP Address will appear Take a note of it 3. Set password Next Press Format Next Add new Cams Select IP Cams to start recording and enter their password Next Select I don t want to use my D-Link Service 4. Select Go to the NVR 5. Repeat the router configuration to establish remote access to your NVR if needed
