2 ANGELANTONI LIFE SCIENCE propose a wide range of ultralow temperature freezers, from 110 to 800 liters, chests and uprights kind. This brochure includes all ULT freezers available at ALS for storage of general non-flammable materials, for laboratories use, pharmaceutical, hospital and for any other kind of storage when such a low temperature is required. PLATILAB models have the classic insulation with high density injected CFC-free PU foam of minimum 10 mm thickness IRILAB models have a mix of vacuum insulated panels (V.I.P.) and injected PU foam for total 70 mm thickness. This solution increases the internal capacity by consuming less footprint area. NEXT versions of both PLATILAB and IRILAB have the intelligent controller Cold Brain

ColdBrain has an internal temperature graph recorder, alarms and touch key buttons too. 5 Equipment /Controllers Standard controller for PLATILAB and IRILAB series. The standard controller is made of two independent parts: one for the cooling system control and another one for all local and remote alarms. It is equipped with rechargeable battery back-up which can provide energy to the electronics up to 8h even in case of power black-outs. The standard controller can be equipped with an optional Ethernet board, for connection and data handling to the CRYOLOG software (See optional accessories). A self-diagnostic routine it s full time active to double check both electronic sections and to avoid data loss. To connect a freezer to the computer where Cryolog is installed, please provide by yourself for two Ethernet cables of proper length and one Ethernet Switch: one cable is for freezer Switch connection and one is for Switch computer connection 2. If you have more than one freezer to put on line, please buy as many Ethernet cables of proper length as the number of freezers you have and Ethernet Switch with sufficient numbers of ports equal or greater than the number of freezers plus one (last one free to be used for computer connection). 7 Cryogenic back-up systems Description CO2 back-up system for PLATILAB 0V, 500V and IRILAB 520, 800V CO2 back-up system for PLATILAB 110H, 70H and 550H CO2 back-up system for PLATILAB NEXT 0V, 500V, IRILAB NEXT 520V and 800V CO2 back-up system for PLATILAB NEXT 70H and 550H LN2 back-up system with hose for all models except IRILAB NEXT 520V and 800V LN2 back-up system with hose only for IRILAB NEXT 520V and 800V LCO2 / LN2 cryogenic back-up systems to automatically supply liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide into the freezers. In case of chamber warm up beyond - 65 C, the system automatically injects the liquid gas, to keep the internal temperature around -65 C. These back-up systems include the probes, the electronics and the cryogenic valves. The cryogenic cylinders with LN2 or LCO2 are not included and must be locally provided through a qualified supplier, as well as the connection piping. The LCO2 / LN2 are emergency devices only. In none case, they can replace the job of the cooling systems. The task of such emergency systems, it is to ensure few hours extra at a reasonably low temperature, even in case of compressors failure or mains power black-out. The few hours ensured by the back-up systems represent the time necessary to move the freezer contents into another working unit until the electric power is back. Each unit equipped with the Bioguard is supplied complete with three opening cads but in addition to that, You may add some more cards (optional). The BIOGUARD option increase the safety of your valuable stored products. In case of card damaging or electronic failure, there is an emergency rescue key to open the door manually. BIOGUARD 7

Minimum computer requirements Before installing the CRYOLOG application, please be sure that your computer includes at least the following equipment: Intel Pentium processor or higher version 1 GB RAM 200MB of free space on the Hard-Disk 1280 x 720 minimum resolution, 16 million colors One Ethernet card Mouse & keyboard Windows Vista / 7 / 8 To connect any device to the computer where CRYOLOG is installed, two Ethernet cables of proper length and one Ethernet Switch are necessary: one cable is for the device and another one for computer connection. If you have more than one device to connect with CRYOLOG, you need as many Ethernet cables as the number of devices you wish to connect to the computer, plus one extra cable, for the connection between the Switch and the computer.
