6 Camera for macroscopy Propath integrates HD cameras in his grossing tables. With this new system, Propath assures High Definition images without time loss during dissecting. Propath integrates the camera in the superstructure of his tables. This gives the user the opportunity of taking images directly above his grossing area. With a 10x optic zoom images can be taken without manipulating the camera. Images are stored immediately with the specimen number on the PC hard disk or the server of the hospital. With foot pedal control, the pictures can be taken as well as the zoom of the camera modified. And this while we keep a live image on the screen. Additional information During the grossing, indications like arrows or annotations can be added. Even dimensions can be taken, independent of the position of the zoom of the camera. Images can easily be printed with a scale on the image or the name of the hospital, specimen number etc. With this system the user will take more images as it goes so fast. While using the specimen number, failures will be avoided when combining them with a report. The high quality images (HD : 2 million pixels) can be saved as TIF or JPEG Necessary The program works with Windows XP as well as VISTA.
