2 1 Introduction The document describes IVT BlueSoleil cphone features. 2 Target Platform CPU: 600MHz or above RAM: 128M or above Screen: 800*600 or above Video Card: Supporting true color of 16bits or above BlueSoleil cphone Release Note OS: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8,Windows8.1(32bit and 64bit) Languages Supported: English, Simplified Chinese. 3 Functions BlueSoleil cphone is mobile phone data management software developed by IVT Technology Inc., facilitating your management of contacts, messages, various files and application programs in your mobile phone from PC, such as phoning, data backup, file transmission, application installation and so on. In addition to data cable connection, BlueSoleil cphone supports Bluetooth connection. The cphone version published provides the following functions: Function Platforms Supported Connection Contacts SMS Calls Files Description Windows Mobile, Android and Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone platforms Supporting USB data cable connection, Bluetooth connection, Wi-Fi (AP) connection (Android phone required), and Wi-Fi (Ad-Hoc) connection (Android phone required), capable of setting supported platform and default connection mode; supporting connection switchover between multiple mobile phones Checking and managing contacts in mobile phone, capable of creating, editing, searching, deleting, making backup of and restoring contacts Supporting SMS transmission; checking and managing messages in mobile phone, capable of searching, deleting and exporting messages From PC, making and receiving mobile calls and checking call history (Only for Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone) Checking and managing files in mobile phone: (Android, Windows Mobile) 1. Supporting file drag-and-drop function; 2. Transmitting files mutually between PC and mobile phone; 3. Checking file (folder) information in mobile phone; 4. Set mobile phone wallpaper from pc Searching, downloading and installing the latest mobile software and games on mobile phone (Only for Android phone) Transfer files between PC to PC, mobile phone to mobile phone Network Sharing Mobile phone Sync Make your mobile phone suffering through PC network Supporting sync contacts and message while two mobile phone connected(android platform mobile phone required) 3.1 Installation Preinstallation: The previous version of BlueSoleil which have installed should be uninstalled: Click Start -> Control Panel, then choose Uninstall a program. Select BlueSoleil in the program list and uninstall it. Bluetooth adapter can be remained plugged or unplugged when installation. Users must log on as administrators to install BlueSoleil. BlueSoleil can only be removed from Control Panel. Installation steps: Double-click setup.exe to start installation. Choose the setup language. Follow the instructions on the screen. Restart your computer. Note: With regard to the installation command line, please refer to setup.ini in the installation folder for detailed instructions. 3.2 Functional Restrictions BlueSoleil cphone requires users to install BlueSoleil 10 or above version. (BlueSoleil 10 download: Connection with BlueSoleil cphone via Bluetooth will only works when BlueSoleil is installed. Phoning from BlueSoleil cphone will works if you choose Bluetooth connection. Fixed bug: can t add contacts on Windows XP with cphone. Switch the connection mode (USB data cable connection, Wi-Fi (AP) connection) and Wi- Fi (Ad-Hoc)) for Android phone. Fixed bug: In the first connection with Bluetooth-enabled mobile phone, cphone will not respond if devices search dialog is closed. Fixed bug: cphone service will crash at the mobile phone side. Fixed bug: Send SMS from cphone, the contact window may crash. Fixed bug: cphone will still show failure even when Ad-Hoc service has been successfully created in Windows 7 64bit OS. Fixed bug: After connection of Android phone with Wi-Fi (Ad-Hoc), Wi-Fi (AP) can t find this phone again. Fixed bug: Can t transfer large files through FTP. Fixed bug: If you close cphone while Applications window is open, one error message pops up. Fixed bug: Can t create Ad-Hoc connection in Windows 8 OS. Fixed bug: Some mobile phones driver can t be installed in Windows 8 OS. Fixed bug: Can t show Contacts at SMS window. Fixed bug: Can t delete message from cphone.
