2 XENPAK/X2 Converter Pluggable XENPAK or X2 body with open SFP+ slot XENPAK-CONVERTER Application This is ideal for customers who have already invested heavily in Xenpak / X2 reliant networks who wish to pro-long the use of their network without the cost of upgrading to SFP+ form factor switches. XENPAK-CONVERTER-CI or X2-CONVERTER-CI for Cisco XENPAK-CONVERTER AR or X2-CONVERTER-AR for ARISTA XENPAK-CONVERTER-JU or X2-CONVERTER-JU for JUNIPER XENPAK-CONVERTER-HP or X2-CONVERTER-HP for HP XENPAK-CONVERTER or X2-CONVERTER for Generic. Features and Benefits The ProLabs X2 or Xenpak converter plugs into customers legacy Xenpak or X2 switches, allowing an SFP+ transceiver to be inserted into the converter. Customers are able to take advantage of the more readily available, modern ProLabs SFP+ transceivers, where Prolabs can provide a broader range of reaches and applications. Short lead times, with a large stock holding of the Converters and ProLabs SFP+ form factor transceivers. More connectivity options; such as via Prolabs Direct Attach Cables, or use of ProLabs bi-directional transceivers etc.
3 SFP+ LRM Transceiver SFP+ 10G transceiver for use over single and multimode fibre SFP-10G-LRM Application Typical application includes campus networks, such as hospitals, universities and schools hoping to migrate from 1G to 10G using existing multimode fibre runs. The key advantage of the Prolabs LRM product is that it allows customers with existing multimode fibre infrastructure to upgrade to 10G speed, without replacing existing fibre runs. Transmission distance of up to 300m over multimode fibre. Reduced CAPEX higher speed 16G FC reduces the number of switch ports required to achieve similar performance, as well as less structured cabling investment. Reduced OPEX - 16G FC reduces the time it takes to transfer data between two ports, which if deployed in a Datacentre environment would consume less power per bit, compared with previously available transfer speeds.
