2 How to use VMware Partner Exchange 2014 Mobile App 1. Download the app from the app stores: a. ios /id ?ls=1&mt=8 b. Android The very first screen will be a VMware Partner Exchange 2014 splash screen:

3 3. The VMware Partner Exchange 2014 splash screen will be visible for 2-5 seconds (depending on the internet speed). After the splash screen, users will see the SSO Login page. Hit continue on the SSO Login page to log in to the mobile app with VMworld credentials.

4 4. Log in using your VMworld credentials to see the contents of the app.

5 5. Once logged in, everyone will see an Activity Feed page. This is the page where all the VMware Partner Exchange promoted messages along with attendees activities is shown. Tap the bar go to the mobile app icons page OR Swipe your finger left to right to go to the mobile app icons page

6 6. Once you swipe your fingers left to right on the Activity feed page, or tab the bar, you will see the icons page. This is where all the other contents of the mobile app are.

7 7. How to view and Schedule Sessions: 7a. From the icons page, tap the Sessions icon to view the full session listings.

8 7b. You can also filter the sessions by Day, Session Tracks, Solutions, Session Types, and Role by tapping the Filter option.

9 7c. Click Add to My Agenda to add the session to your Scheduler/My Agenda

10 7d. Click My Agenda view the sessions that you have scheduled via the Content Catalog and the mobile app.

11 7e. If you see an X when you click Add to My Agenda that means the session was not added to your Agenda/Scheduler

12 7f. Add to Calendar will not reserve a seat for you for that session. It just adds the session to your personal calendar. Make sure to click Add to My Agenda to book a seat for you.

13 8. Click on Speakers icon to see who is speaking during Partner Exchange 2014 and the sessions associated with them.

14 9. Click on Sponsor/Exhibitor (listed by their sponsorship level) icon to see the details of the exhibitors.

15 10. Click on Surveys to see the Session Surveys (will show surveys for the sessions you attended), and General Session Survey to take the surveys. - Once you take a survey, click Close to go back to the survey page to take more surveys.

16 11. Check In Functionality. Attendees can check in to a Session (that doesn t mean they reserved a seat for that session), Exhibitor, or a Speaker. The popular check ins will show on the Activity Feed page.

17 12. Click other icons to view other offerings. a. Week at a Glance is the summary of the conference week. Shows registration open/close date and time and other valuable information b. Venue Maps Shows the maps of the Moscone Convention Center c. Hands on Labs Shows the HOL offerings d. Help Tells attendees to visit Assisted Registration located in Moscone West Hall for on-site mobile support. e. Information This is where VMware Privacy Policy, and End User Licensing Agreement is f. Activity Feed Takes you back to the Activity Feed page.
