4 1. Introduction This app allows you to offer digital products in your web shop. Examples are downloads of PDF, music, video, photo and application files. Do you want to offer e-books or do you sell codes for computer games, e-tickets or other digital products? Download this free app now in the CCV Shop App Store. Page 4 Manual for Digital Products

5 2. Step-by-step plan You can easily sell digital products via the CCV Shop. The steps you must follow are briefly described below. They are explained in more detail in the subsequent chapters. 1. App Store Notes Ready a. Install the Digital Products app In the App Store of the web shop you can install the Digital Products app. Y/N 2. Settings Notes Ready a. Settings via CCV Shop After you have installed the app, go to My Web Shop > Settings > General > Digital Products to get the settings. b. Settings for your web shop Make sure that the digital products are suitable for your web shop by means of a number of specific settings for your web shop and your range of products. Y/N Y/N 3. Products Notes Ready a. New product When creating a new product, you have a choice of a physical, digital or extended product. b. 6 2.2 Step 1: Install the Digital Products app The 'Digital Products' app is a free app that you can use to sell digital products in your web shop. Install the app Log in on the maintenance section of your web shop. Then click 'App Store'. Under the 'Support' category you will find the 'Digital Products' app. Activate the app to make digital products available in your web shop. 2.3 Step 2: Enter the Digital Products settings After installing the 'Digital Products' app, you can find the settings for the app via 'My Web Shop > Settings > General > Digital products'. Figure 1 Settings for digital products Type of product added as default This setting determines the default product (physical, digital or extended) that will be created when you click 'Add product' in the product maintenance section. 7 Send reminder This setting is for sending a reminder . How many days before deletion of the file do you wish to send the customer a reminder ? The customer will receive an stating that only a limited time is left to download the files. Order digital product When digital products are purchased, an extra will be sent containing a link where customers can download the products or obtain the codes. Write here the text that you want to place in the . Validity of a digital product Downloadable products are valid for a certain period of time. Here you can select the default validity subject to a minimum of one day and a maximum of two years. This setting is also adjustable at product level. 2.4 Step 3: Create a digital product If you go to the product maintenance section, you can choose what type of product you want to create. You have a choice of: a physical product: the product that you physically have and sell, such as a CD a digital product: a product such as a code or an e-book or an extended product: a combination of physical and digital products, such as a CD with a code. 8 Figure 2 Create a digital product Add a digital product You add a digital product in the same way as you create a physical product. There is a new tab for digital products in the product maintenance section. Page 8 Manual for Digital Products

9 Figure 3 Enter digital product settings First select the type of product so as to choose whether you wish to sell a downloadable product or a product with codes or a combination of download and codes. Files If you have a downloadable product, you can upload files subject to a maximum of 10 MB per file and a maximum of 100 MB for the entire web shop. For these files the following file extensions are possible:.txt.doc.docx.pdf.xls.xlsx.jpg.jpeg.gif.png.dst.zip. Codes If you sell a product with codes, you can add the codes by pressing enter or by using a ",". Page 9 Manual for Digital Products

10 Important! The stock determines how many codes may be sold. If more codes have been sold than you have in stock, an empty code will be added with the status 'Already issued'. If you enter new codes, the codes already issued will be the first to be entered. If you click 'Save', these codes will go to the customers to whom they have been sold. If you have already sold a code, you can do this by clicking the code at the options and then clicking 'Status sold'. Option Here you can set the validity of the downloadable items for each product and how often the items may be downloaded. Important! If you set the validity of a product at two years, the space (MB) that this product takes up will be reserved until expiry of the validity. Page 10 Manual for Digital Products

11 2.5 Step 4: My Account The 'My Account' page has been modified so that in addition to the order history the customer now has an insight into the downloadable products and the codes.
