8 Objectives TDL Hosting of the SNC software within the Tactical Processor Assessment of overall TP performance. Development of L22 parser/driver. Define distribution of Time of Day to key components. System Transfer of Initialisation data from Data Transfer Unit Display of relevant L22 data within the Wildcat HMI Demonstrate Joining and leaving an existing (HF or UHF FF) L22 network. Use of real aircraft LRUs to the maximum extent possible. Use existing rig facilities that are known and understood by the UK MoD Lynx Programme Office. Use of recognised L22 Test Tools for development. Learning Establish Leonardo Helicopter / General Dynamics UK familiarity with the L22 documentation, interfaces and integration of the SNC and key components of the NRS. 12 Findings Establishing reliable time distribution is critical in a mixed hardware / simulation environment. Its implementation is not a trivial task. NRS configuration. Training Proven that SNC can be hosted on embedded solution. Testing. Route to accreditation. NILE Documentation. DLP reuse. allowed rapid integration of the L22 DLP solution. 13 Conclusions Demonstration provided necessary Link 22 system de-risk. SNC and DLP being co-resident in an embedded system. TP and software is ready to support external equipment integration and airborne trials. Provides the development and test environments for future integration of Link 22 onto the Wildcat and other platforms. Solution shown to be interoperable with different L22 solutions from two other suppliers and the NILE Reference System.
