This repository maintains an audit trail of all actions and eents that occurred during Tioli Business Systems Manager processing. It also is the Web serer for the reporting system. Monitors the status and aailability of Tioli Business Systems Manager and displays the performance and aailability of its components. If you hae a history serer, you must install the reporting system component on the history serer. If you do not hae a history serer, you can install the Reporting System component on the database serer. Using the reporting system without a history serer can cause seere performance degradation for console users, and is not recommended in a production enironment. See History Serer (optional) on page 11 for serer specifications. See Health Monitor Serer (optional) on page 12 for serer specifications. TCP/IP as proided by the supported operating systems for connectiity. Microsoft Host Integration Serer 2000 Client feeds is used for mainframe connectiity for SNA configurations and for code page translations for IP connectiity. z/os 1.4 or later (only if you are going to monitor z/os data sources). IBM Tioli NetView for z/os 5.1 (only if you are going to monitor z/os data sources). See Tioli NetView for OS/390 and z/os on page 113 for details.
