1 Add a video to your property listing Adding a video to your listing not only helps engage customers for longer, it also saves you time by allowing prospective buyers the chance to view the property at their leisure. This quick reference guide shows you step by step instructions on how you can load an embedded video to your next property listing on realcommercial.com.au. Getting started. To get started, you ll need to have a YouTube account if you don t already. If you ve already signed up for one, just skip this section. If not, here are the steps you ll need to take: 1. Go to youtube.com 2. Click the large Red Create an Account button, or the smaller link with the same name at the top right of the page. 3. Fill out the form with your personal information. If you have a Gmail address, entering it as your address in this form will save you some time later. When you re done filling out the form, select I agree to the Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and then click the Next step button. 4. If you used your Gmail account when creating your YouTube account, you ll be asked to link them together on the next page. If this is the case, link the accounts. If you did not use your Gmail account (because you don t have one) you ll be asked to create one on the next page. If this is the case, create a Gmail account and it will be linked to your new YouTube account. 5. Now you re signed up and should be automatically signed in. You ll know if you re signed in if you see your YouTube account name in the upper right corner of the screen. If you don t, you should see a Sign In link up there. Click that, then sign in with your new YouTube username and password. Click here to create an account Sign in or Log in using your existing account details

2 Create a new Google account Creating a new Google Account is easy fill out the form with your personal/ business information. Account settings By default your account will be set up to show YouTube advertisements. Follow the steps below to disable any advertisements to be displayed with you videos. Select the option Settings Select the Do not allow advertisements to be displayed alongside my videos button.

3 Now that you have an account. Uploading a video is very easy. Here are the steps you need to follow: Step 1. Make sure you re signed into your account by looking up at the top right hand part of the page. If you see your username, you re signed in. Step 2. To the left of your username, you ll find a link called Upload. Click on that. Step 3. A new page will load and you ll be presented with 4 options. The option you want to click is the red arrow button labelled Select files from your computer. Step 4. Once you ve clicked the Select files from your computer button, you ll see a new window pop up that will let you select a file from your hard drive. Select the video you want to upload and click the Open button. Step 5. The video will start to upload and you ll see its progress as well as a bunch of other options. Make sure you do not close this page until the video has finished uploading or it will not finish. While the video is uploading you can change the name, add a description, set your privacy options, and fill out other relevant information. Step 6. Once your video has finished uploading, you ll be able to watch it and share it. You ll find a button labelled Share underneath the video that will provide you with a link (URL). Step 7. Copy the link (URL) of your YouTube video and paste this into the space provided under Links when listing your property on Agent Administration. Alternatively, if you aren t using Agent Administration, copy the link (URL) into the video field of your real estate management software. Congratulations, you ve just uploaded your first video to your property listing. Step 3. Click Select files from your computer button to upload your video.

4 Step 5. It is mandatory that you include a title and short description of your video. Step 6. Once the video has finished loading. Select the Share Button. Copy and paste the YouTube URL from here. This URL needs to be copied into the Links section when listing your property on Agent Administration or the video field of your management system.

5 Step 7. Paste the YouTube URL here for your video to appear in your realcommercial.com.au listing. Helpful information: Images and sounds within videos must comply with the following rules. Each video must advertise a property for sale or lease and focus predominantly on the property. You must not use video to advertise yourself or your agency, except that you may include a transparent watermark of your agency logo in one corner of the video with dimensions no greater than 10% of the total image size (i.e. 80 pixels by 60 pixels). Images and sounds in videos must relate to the property being offered for sale or lease. Displaying a lifestyle image or commenting on lifestyle features is acceptable (eg. a view from the property or an image of some local environmental or structural feature or amenity) provided the property remains the principal focus of the video. You must not use the video functionality in a way that is likely to mislead or deceive users of realcommercial.com.au You must adhere to the technical requirements for embedded property videos communicated to you from time to time. You must not use the video functionality for any unlawful, illegal, malicious or improper purpose. For example it is not acceptable to display images or include commentary that: May defame or discredit another person or business; May disclose private, personal or confidential information; Might be considered obscene, offensive, menacing or abusive; Might infringe the intellectual property rights of others; or May violate any law, regulation, standard, content requirements or code promulgated by any relevant authority or industry body.
