5 Downloading Assets Within Brand Central, assets may be downloaded individually or in batches. Additionally, users have Download Preset options available which allow for conversion of the assets upon download to different file formats, sizes, and, resolutions. For example, if the asset in Brand Central is a JPG file and you need a PNG, you can choose to convert the file upon download. Single-click asset. To select multiple assets: Windows: Hold down CTRL Key + clicking on specific assets Mac: Hold down the COMMAND Key + clicking on specific assets Selected assets are highlighted in dark blue. Click the Download button. Select Download Preset and click on the Download button. (See next slide for more information on download presets.) Polycom, Inc. All rights reserved. 5

6 Selecting the Right Download Preset When downloading assets, you have additional options, including preconfigured Download Presets and the ability to create your own Download Presets. Select a desired preset: Original: Asset is downloaded in the size and format it was originally posted. High Quality Web 1000px: Image sized for use in most large graphics on the web, like banners. Standard Quality Web 500px: Image sized for general web use, like thumbnails. Microsoft Office 750px: Image sized for use in programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, etc. Custom: Enter your own custom download preset. 7 Creating a Custom Download Preset Choose Custom from the Download Preset dropdown list. Choose the file format you wish to convert to. You can choose from the following: JPG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PDF. Set the following parameters as needed. If left blank, the file will retain its original setting when it is downloaded. Resolution Recommend values are 72 dpi for web, 96 dpi for Microsoft Office programs, and 300 dpi for print. Dimensions You can set this by width, height, or longest size. The files will never be upsized and the aspect ratio is always maintained. Color Space You can choose from RGB, CMYK, or Grayscale. RGB is recommended for web use and CMYK is recommended for print. Check the box next to Save these settings and enter a name for the setting. Next time you download an asset, your saved preset will be displayed in the picklist. Click Download. Tip! 8 Sharing an Asset You may assets directly from Brand Central, or you can a link to the asset. Double-click the asset to enter the asset detail view. In the upper right corner, click the share icon Share Icon A popup window with three tabs will appear where you can: Obtain a direct link to the asset a link to the asset the asset Polycom, Inc. 9 Asset Option Bar Use the Asset Option Bar to Like an asset, comment on an asset, or add an asset to your personal lightbox. To view the Asset Option Bar, hover your mouse curser in the upper right area of an asset window. We will use this information to help us guide the types of imagery and assets we create and post to Brand Central in the future. Comment on an Asset Provide your feedback on an image or asset by selecting the bubble icon. Add Asset to Favorites Click the favorites icon. You may also initiate a download from the Asset Option Bar Click the downward facing arrow. Tip! Use the comment bubble to let us know how you will be using an asset. 10 Personal Collection of Favorite Assets Favorites Folder Add assets to your Favorites folder that you use often and do not want to save on your personal device. This could be your favorite images, or guidelines you refer to often. Access your Favorites folder in the upper right portion of the navigation bar. Polycom, Inc. All rights reserved. 10
