2 WebDAM User Guide WebDAM is a gallery of digital assets available to all Tourism Calgary partners to assist with promoting Calgary. This tool allows partners to share and collect valuable assets in one single accessible platform. This guide will familiarize you with the login and image collection/distribution process for the Tourism Calgary WebDAM. 3 How to Register To access WebDAM, visit: and register. Click on register below the login button, then review and accept the terms and conditions. Fill in all fields with your information, then set up a Username and Password. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 3

4 How to Login To access WebDAM, visit: and login using your Username and Password. Once logged in, you will be able to search for images, view galleries, and create collections of images (Lightboxes) to share with others. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 4

5 How to Search for an Image All images have been tagged with keywords. To find images, enter key search terms and hit. To refine your search use AND, OR in the Search field. The example below shows results for images using Festival as the key search term. Further refine your search by clicking on the word more. Select as many keywords as desired and click Apply. 6 How to Download an Image To download a single image click once on the image thumbnail, then click on in the red box in the top right corner of the image. To download multiple images, hold down Control CTRL (PC) or Command (Mac) button and click on each image you wish to download. Click on the. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 6

7 How to Create a Lightbox A Lightbox is a collection of images which create an album. You can manage and share an unlimited number of Lightboxes. To Create a Lightbox, click on the icon in the top right corner of the red bar. You can access/edit existing Lightboxes or Create a Lightbox by filling out the Name/Description fields. This will create a new Lightbox that you can save or share. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 7

8 How to Add Images to a Lightbox To add images to a Lightbox, click on the image. To select multiple images hold down the Control CTRL (PC) or Command (Mac) button and click multiple images. Then click on the Add to Lightbox button and select a Lightbox. Alternatively, double click on the image and a box will appear with information about the image and options to Download, Add to Lightbox, Hide Details, Share, Watch, and Close. To return to images you can click on Assets for a new search or use the back arrows to return to your search. Click on the Tourism Calgary logo to return to the main page. 9 How to Access and Edit a Lightbox To Access and Edit a Lightbox, click on the icon in the top right corner of the red bar and select the Lightbox you want to edit. You can now edit and customize the collection of images previously saved within the Lightbox. You can change the name of the Lightbox and add more details to this collection of images by filling in the fields on the left side of the window. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 9

10 You can change the Name of the Collection and add a Project title. Additional details about the collection of images can be added under Description. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 10

11 The Lightbox actions tab will give you options for what you want to do with the Lightbox. To Leave a Comment about an image, hover your cursor over the red box in the top right corner of the image and click on the icon. A field will appear that you can fill in. 12 How to Share a Lightbox To share a collection of images, select the icon at the top right. A page will appear with options to Link, Download, or FTP Download. Select the Link or FTP Download options when sharing images with WebDAM users. When sharing with Non WebDAM users, select the Download option. Tourism Calgary WebDAM User Guide 12
