1 The purpose of a personal page is to fundraise for a missionary by promoting the team page to friends, family, and other relationships via , using a personal touch with photos and testimonies. Some will donate only; some will create their own page. 5 Complete registration form, and optional blog, twitter, and facebook and click next step 5

9 This is your participant center where you do all your editing and managing, click team progress to set up team page first 9

10 This is where you will put text for the TEAM page (see Appendix A ), and the bottom is where you upload a photo for this page, be sure to put a caption for the photo 10

11 Click browse and select the photo you want to upload from your file, page (see Appendix B ) once uploaded, make sure to click save 11

22 Appendix A Entering text on your personal or team page It is suggested that you type your text in a notepad document and save it so that you can prevent data loss. This process removes all formatting. You can then cut and paste right into the text area on your personal or team page. Here are the steps to open Notepad: Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Notepad 22

Appendix B Help with shrinking a photo so you can Upload it to your personal or team page The photo you are uploading needs to be small enough to place on your personal or team page (less than 200kb).

Here is a simple way to do this. Right Click on the photo you want to shrink. Notice my photo is 3.52 MB, which is too large. We want to shrink it to be able to place on the personal or team page. 24

25 Right click on the thumbnail of the photo, open with, then choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager to open it. This is the program that we will use to shrink the photo. 25
