9 Original Goal Provide the public health workforce timely, convenient access to information resources to aid them in improving the health of the American public.
10 Original Objectives Increase public health workforce (PHW) awareness and use of distributed learning and practice resources; Assist PHW in obtaining infrastructure needed for effective access to information resources; Train PHW to use technology required for effective access to information resources; Train PHW to identify and use pertinent information resources and services; and Increase health sciences librarians awareness of needs of and resources within the PHW.
