Introduction Premier Firmware has undergone some major changes, focussed mainly on the changing requirements of international standards, but also encompassing feature changes requested by our customers. This document details the major changes between V15 & V16 firmware. Bug Fixes Over 60 minor "Bugs" have been fixed during Internal Testing; the majority of these were never seen in the field. Some of the Improvements listed below may have been made following the reporting of a "Bug" or the general operation and function of the panel. Improvements Several Improvements have been made in V16. None of these require any programming they are simply a better way of doing things, or as a result of a customer request. Com Port Fault Indications Changes made to specify which Com Port is in fault. If both Com ports are in fault, the Com Faults will alternate between the 2 ports. All languages modified to support this enhancement. Reporting Codes 1. New SIA code YT added for Radio Supervision fault restore. This will both be logged and reported. 2. Reporting added for Device low battery. When using Contact ID or SIA Low Battery notifications will be reported. Ricochet Changes 1. Any Ricochet devices including FOBs will now search for the first available free slot and map itself there. The mapping for ALL devices including FOBs will start from 0 and upwards until it reaches the maximum number of devices for the panel used.. 2. New message added for indicating Radio low battery to the User. 3. Ricochet Devices with same serial number will be dealt with correctly by considering the device type also. Panel Outputs Panel Outputs 3&4 will be set to "Not Used" when the Speech module is configured on Keypad or in Wintex. ComIP 1. Any changes to any of the ComIP details will cause the ComIP to initialize correctly. 2. In addition to this changes have been made to ensure the ComIP does not start re-configuring while the Engineer is still logged in. Wintex UDL Connections Wintex UDL connections will be dropped if a priority alarm has to be reported. New Features The new features added to the panel have been implemented to satisfy the requirements of changing standards in various countries, and requests from customers. The majority of the key changes are too the Global Options menu and Configuration Options, and Misc Options. Other new features are listed separately. Some of these new features have resulted in changes to Wintex which are detailed later. 3. Panel Start-up procedure V16 sees a new start-up procedure allowing selection of the control panel language, loading specific country defaults and confirming devices connected to the panel network at start-up.
