3 1. Introduction This document contains a list of issues that have been resolved in OnGuard 7.1 and subsequent updates. This document is intended as a supplement to the OnGuard 7.1 Update 1 Release Notes. 2. OnGuard 7.1 Update 1 Resolved Issues 2.1. Alarm Monitoring Alarm Monitoring Alarm window improperly displays layout after logging out and logging back into a remote connection (DE9369, EE-5328): This release resolves this issue. Alarm Monitoring works as expected. Alarm Monitoring shows all panels online when the Communication Server connection is broken (DE12084, EE-6308): This release resolves this issue. Panels now show as offline in Alarm Monitoring when the connection to the Communication Server is broken. Automatic Map Display option in Alarm Monitoring fails to focus on active alarms (DE12279, EE-6383, EE-6435): This release resolves this issue. The Automatic Map Display option in Alarm Monitoring works as expected. Using the middle mouse button to drag and drop devices on a map results in device information to appear in wrong locations in Alarm Monitoring (DE12516, EE-6500): This release resolves this issue. The middle mouse button is disabled on maps in Alarm Monitoring Application Server IDVM Service (LS Application Server) causes high CPU Utilization (DE10482, EE-6102): This release resolves this issue. The LS Application Server no longer creates high CPU utilization Archiving Invalid record error occurs while restoring archive or inaccurate data in restored records (DE9420, DE9424, EE-5803): This release resolves this issue. Restoring events from an archive works as expected. Unable to archive alarm acknowledgements when the linked event is missing from the database (DE10992, EE-6140): This release resolves this issue. Alarm acknowledgements can now be archived even if the linked event is missing. Visitor records are not being archived (DE12676, EE-6524): This release resolves this issue. Visitor records are archived as expected Badge Printing System Administration does not respond when printing with inline encoding to the Zebra ZXP Series printer (DE9890, EE-5959): This release resolves this issue. 4 2.5. Cardholder Data Import Badge ID import from a proximity card using the Omnikey 5x25 does not import the correct ID (DE11041, DE12698, EE-6280): This release resolves this issue. The badge ID is imported correctly as expected Communication Server NGP Out reader no longer selectable after upgrade for Access Levels (DE7079): This release resolves this issue. Swiping a badge on any NGP out reader results in a Granted Access event as expected. During large bulk updates, responsible services such as DataConduIT, Site Publication and Data Exchange, temporarily lose connection to database and memory usage optimization (DE9340, EE-5522): This release resolves this issue. Services responsible for large bulk updates work as expected. Communication Server can take up to 5 minutes to reconnect to database (DE12639): This release resolves this issue. The Communication Server reconnects to the database in an acceptable amount of time. Communication Server stops working when Microsoft SQL restarts, events are processing, and an addbadge command occurs (DE12694): This release resolves this issue. The Communication Server works as expected. Badges are not downloading to panels when replicated from Master to Region (DE7971): This release resolves this issue. Badges are downloaded as expected during replication. Lenel Error Log flooded with Internal Logic Error messages (DE12693): This release resolves this issue. The Internal Logic Error message is no longer generated when the NGP Panel with I/O reader is online. Unknown Command 200 message continuously written to the lenelerror.log when sending configuration changes to NGP controllers (DE9009): This release resolves this issue. The Command 200 message is no longer continuously written to the lenelerror.log. ILS locks fail to execute reader mode change at end of Timezone Reader Mode if start or end intervals overlap with different day of week selections (DE9308, DE9427, EE-5810): This release resolves this issue. ILS locks execute reader mode as expected. Areas assigned to an NGP LCD keypad do not update properly after a database download (DE9316, EE-6022): This release resolves this issue. Area assignments work as expected after a database download. LS Communication Server and LS Linkage Server gradually lose functions if temporarily disconnected from the database multiple times (DE9340, EE-5522): This release resolves this issue. LS Communication Server and LS Linkage Server work as expected. Otis embedded reader does not recognize card format offset (DE9856): This release resolves this issue. An Invalid badge alarm is generated when with the offset configured is presented to an OTIS embedded reader. Temporary access levels updates on Oracle database might disrupt manual and scheduled downloads (DE11779, EE-6286, EE-6297): This release resolves this issue. Temporary access level updates on the OnGuard database may disrupt manual and scheduled downloads (DE12625, EE-6286, EE-6297): This release resolves this issue. Manual and scheduled updates work as expected. Lenel error log is flooded with Internal Logic Error messages (DE12693): This release resolves this issue. The issue causing the Internal logic error.: Device ID (259) is out of range. Panel ID (...) has been fixed and the message no longer floods the Lenel error log. Improper socket handling between Communication Server and clients causes Communication Server to appear unresponsive (EE-5882): This release resolves this issue. The Communication Server works as expected DataConduIT Massive badge updates create memory issues between DataConduIT and Replicator (DE12682, EE-5742, EE-5801): This release resolves this issue. DataConduIT and Replicator work as expected. DataConduIT "Get hardware status" incorrectly returns null value for controller status and "Get hardware status" incorrectly mapped for cameras permission (DE9200, DE9095): This release resolves this issue. DataConduIT works as expected. DataConduIT stops working when several OAAP integrations with updates for UDF information are made before the previous integration completes (DE10145, DE10348): This release resolves this issue. DataConduIT works as expected. Unable to assign a visitor badge and download it to access panel while signing in a visit from DataConduIT (DE11211, EE-6287): This release resolves this issue. Assigning a visitor badge and downloading it to an access panel from DataConduIT works as expected. Query of Lnl_AccessLevelGroupAssignment results in null values (DE12211): This release resolves this issue. Queries of Lnl_AccessLevelGroupAssignment result in the expected values. WMIService stops working when database is not available during query for LNL_USER (DE12495, EE-6575): This release resolves this issue. The WMIService returns query results as expected. DataConduIT and Replicator experience memory issues during massive badge updates (DE12682, EE-5742): This release resolves this issue. DataConduIT and Replicator work as expected under extreme resource demands. DataConduIT Camera's GetHWStatus Call Uses Wrong Permission (DE12684): This release resolves this issue. DataExchange New/modified DataExchange scripts (database type) do not allow user to select the DSN for required database; error message "Data source name not found and no default driver specified" returned (DE12638): This release resolves this issue. Badge modifications through DataExchange incorrectly report "Default Floor for the badge is not valid." when badge uselimit was out of supported range (DE9220, DE9231, EE-6013): This release resolves this issue. Badge modifications through DataExchange work as expected. DataExchange stops working during a record update (DE10168, DE10170, EE-6154): This release resolves this issue. DataExchange works as expected. Unable to change the database connection for a new DataExchange import script (DE12638, EE-5522): This release resolves this issue. The ODBC dialog appears and allows selection of a database as expected Enterprise Failed Requires User Decision errors occur in Replication when making access level changes on separate badges assigned to the same cardholder (DE7664, EE-5244): This release resolves this issue. Replication works as expected. Site Publication Server experiences memory issues due to slow hardware command processing (DE8143, EE-5662): This release resolves this issue. The Site Publication Server works as expected. Replicator Full Download/UDF Sync fails with error "Internal Exception [Invalid object name '[TABLE]'. Site Publication Server leaks threads over time after repeated disconnects from the Message Broker (DE12520, EE-6235): This release resolves this issue. Thread count increases or decreases depending on the state of the Message Broker as expected. Site Publication Server Object reference not set to an instance of an object, when called CredentialTransactionReceiver.Stop method (DE12687): This release resolves this issue. Form Translator runs and a full download completes as expected IDVM Front Desk In IDVM Front Desk, the default scheduled time in/out (from/to) for events shows the wrong day until IIS is restarted (DE12697, EE-6527): This release resolves this issue. Running an accessory add-on and logging into the OnGuard database works as expected. Cannot download and install Visitor Management Front Desk or Kiosk applications (DE10981): This release resolves this issue. Visitor Management Front Desk and Kiosk applications can be downloaded and installed as expected Intrusion Panels Output numbering for ATS panels does not match output numbering in OnGuard (DE7283, DE12663, EE-5054, EE-5055): This release resolves this issue. The output numbering for ATS panels and OnGuard now match. Current status for ATS panel outputs and DI is not displayed in OnGuard (DE12662, EE-5054): This release resolves this issue. The current status for ATS panel outputs and DI is now displayed in OnGuard. Offboard Relay 238 fails to activate for ATS panel (DE12803): This release resolves this issue. ATS Offboard Relay 238 can be activated and deactivated without error Linkage Server Enterprise env. Master's LS Linkage Server generates Failed RPC records from Use or Lose and Deactivate Status threads (DE9533): This release resolves this issue. Failed RPC records are no longer generated from the master host. Delays occur on the Linkage Server when multiple actions (Global I/O, Destination Assurance, Schedule, Auto s, etc.) are simultaneously activated (DE9575, DE12623, EE-5819, EE-5849, EE-5882, EE-6009): This release resolves this issue. The Linkage Server works as expected NGP Unable to get system status update for [out] readers (DE12664, EE-6177): This release resolves this issue. System status updates for [out] readers can be retrieved as expected OpenAccess OpenSSL security vulnerability addressed with LS Web Service (DE12219): This release includes updates made to address security vulnerabilities with OpenSSL, including preventing malicious clients from sending excessively large OCSP Status Request extensions in order to flood the server and create a Denial of Service attack through memory exhaustion. Other issues were also addressed. For more information, refer to Readers LNL-2210 RDR 0 Aux Output tab/configurations no longer available after upgrade (DE9159, DE9498, EE-5997): This release resolves this issue. 8 2.17. Reports Scheduled reports display invalid timestamp for event records ( date "1/1/-4713" and time "12:00:00AM") (DE9396, EE-5650): This release resolves this issue. Timestamps for event records are correctly displayed. The number of records for this report is too large error message appears when creating a preview of a report, preventing certain reports from being previewed (DE9982, DE9984, EE-6111): This release resolves this issue. Previews of reports can be created as expected. Searching reports with a period mark results in no data found (DE11935, EE-6387): This release resolves this issue. Searches for data with a period mark (for example, a cardholder ID of 1.1 ) can be expected to produce results if such data exists System Administration Use of identical DNS names with different port numbers for access panels not possible (DE12640): This release resolves this issue. Access panels with the same hostname but different port numbers can be added in System Administration as expected. Only one cardholder is allowed to be the device owner of a reader (DE7372, DE9476, EE-5591): This release resolves this issue. More than one cardholder can be assigned as the device owner of a reader as expected in System Administration. Changes to the system including Badge changes, Hardware settings, and access level application and removal are not downloaded properly to panels (DE12692, EE-6325): This release resolves this issue. Downloads to panels work as expected. Unable to properly link to OCF 20DI/16DO/16DOR devices for custom alarms and elevator control (DE9257, DE12068, EE-5831): This release resolves this issue. Custom alarms and elevator control can be configured as expected in System Administration for OCF devices. When using the Unselect Access Group Assignment option, the access levels in the group are not removed from the badge record (DE9430, EE-5587): This release resolves this issue. The Unselect button removes the ACCESS GROUP access levels from the cardholder s assigned access levels. Deleting a segment in System Administration improperly deletes cardholders with that segment assignment (DE9555, EE-5851): This release resolves this issue. System Administration no longer deletes associated cardholders when a segment is deleted. System Administration stops working when logged into specific segment on an Enterprise system and viewing action history or modifying a scheduled action (DE9608, DE9610, EE-6007): This release resolves this issue. System Administration works as expected on an Enterprise system. Elevator Access Denied and Granted events not working correctly (DE12661, EE-6419): This release resolves this issue. Elevator Access Denied and Granted events work as expected. Device camera links for account zones do not appear in System Administration until a new link is added (DE11728, DE11731, EE-6176): This release resolves this issue. Access panels with the same hostname but different port numbers can be added in System Administration as expected Web Area Access Manager Password hashes exposed when querying users (principals) via legacy web services (DE9286): This release resolves this issue. Passwords entered in Web Area Access Manager or Web VideoViewer are secure and protected as expected. Web Area Access Manager stops working when Departments list is selected (DE12398, EE-6323): This release resolves this issue. The Departments list can be selected and Web Area Access Manager continues to work as expected. 3. The slave reader works as expected when added using the wizard Actions The text field of " address" and "Select printer below" are cut off or overlap on the Schedule Report Properties dialog (OG-29985): This release resolves this issue. Text fields display as expected Alarm Monitoring "Max Cardholders reached" alarm does not appear in Alarm Monitoring (OG-29670): This release resolves this issue. The "Max Cardholders reached" alarm appears in Alarm Monitoring as expected. CommonAdministrationStrings.rc has the word "Acknowledgment" misspelled as "Acknowledgement" (OG-29710): This release resolves this issue. "Acknowledgment" is correctly spelled. Alarm Monitoring stops working when performing an alarm acknowledgement (OG-30205): This release resolves this issue. Alarm Monitoring works as expected. 10 When sending Generic Input events, the alarm name is displayed in OnGuard instead of the text that associated with the event (OG-26778): In Alarm Monitoring, when Generic Input events are sent, the associated text now appears for the alarm description instead of only the alarm name. The correct value for the Bias offset of the Casablanca/Morocco time zone is now inserted in the dbo.worldtz table of the OnGuard SQL database DataConduIT DataConduIT service stops when executing the MoveBadge method after changing the default segment of access panel to another custom segment (OG-29952): This release resolves this issue. "Hardware Transaction Failed" error occurs in Replicator when uploading several hardware transactions (add/deletes) from an Enterprise Master/Region (OG-30030): This release resolves this issue. Replicator works as expected. Site Publication Server - Transactions will appear stuck in 'Awaiting Processing at Destination' status if source transaction is deleted from BDG2TRN (OG-30149): This release resolves this issue. Transactions are processed as expected. Site Publication Server does not download Segment Groups as additional segments (OG-30355): This release resolves this issue. Segment groups download as additional segments as expected Replication Administration The System-Wide Cardholder Search wizard in Replication Administration is too small to fit the enlarged Cardholder form (HPQC# 6617): This release resolves this issue. The System-Wide Cardholder Search wizard now resizes as expected. Server ordering does not work in Replication Administration (HPQC# 6894): This release resolves this issue. Server ordering works as expected. "MESSAGE_BROKER_HOST" option not listed in the Object Type drop-down in Replication Administration (OG-29638): This release resolves this issue. The Message Broker Host is listed in Object Type and can be used to filter transactions. PTZ Tour failed to run at the first added time (OG-29968): This release resolves this issue. 13 3.22. System Administration Auto disarm option stops working when an intrusion mask group with an LNL-CK in it is modified (HPQC# 6957): This release resolves this issue. Intrusion mask groups can be modified and the auto disarm option works as expected. The same IP address can be used for the primary and secondary connections for an Otis Destination Entry Server (DES) (OG-29632): This release resolves this issue. The same IP address cannot be used for the primary and secondary IP connections. Controls in the Badge Template Assignment Wizard do not fit on the screen (OG-29699): This release resolves this issue. Controls on all tabs display as expected. Baud rate cannot be set when configuring an Intercom panel (OG-29901): This release resolves this issue. The baud rate can be set when configuring a Commend GE300/GE800 Intercom device or a Generic Intercom device. Hardware timezone is clipped in NGP Panels and Hardware Panels report (OG-29903): This release resolves this issue. Content displays as expected. No support for Authenticated Reader on the LNL-2210 and LNL-3300-M5 (OG-29957): This release resolves this issue. Authenticated readers can be properly configured for LNL and LNL-3300-M5 panels, in addition to the LNL-2220 and LNL-3300 panels. CASI 20 DI inputs in range cannot be used with custom alarms (OG-30180): This release resolves this issue. CASI 20 DI inputs can be used with custom alarms as expected. Pair Master settings is still checked even if 8RP reader is set as Paired Reader (OG-30210): This release resolves this issue. Pair Master settings is unchecked and disabled when 8RP reader is set as Paired Reader. Access panel and Reader wizards are improperly blocked on an Enterprise Master (OG-30234): This release resolves this issue. Access panels and readers can be added as expected. Unexpected alarm generated when badge is swiped at reader and Destination Assurance is configured (OG-30264): This release resolves this issue. The correct alarm appears in Alarm Monitoring when a badge is swiped at the reader. "The maximum number of records (253) has already been added to segment 'Default Segment'" message appears when attempting to add records when the timezone max limit is reached (OG-30296): This release resolves this issue. The maximum number of records message no longer appears when attempting to add records System Management Console LSM service is displayed in the System Management Console (OG-29703): This release resolves this issue. The LSM service has been removed from the OnGuard Services list in the System Management Console Visitor Management Cannot add a visit in Visitor Management (OG-30188): This release resolves this issue.
