6 0 Foreword Foreword Objective of the application With the standard application WinAC-Command it is possible to call any command line command in the operating system MS Windows directly in the PLC program of WinAC, e.g. copying files, starting external programs etc. 6 V1.5, Entrys-ID:

7 1 Basic information and data 1 Basic information and data 1.1 Reference System The described application in this user documentation is based on the following reference system: Microbox PC427B WinAC RTX 2009 Simatic Field PG with Simatic Manager V5.4, SP4 1.2 Installation Attention To install the program, run the setup. The setup copies the example program (WinAC_BATCH_S7example.zip) into a destination folder, which can be selected during the setup. The example has to be retrieved by the Simatic-manager and to be included as a program into the WINAC. The setup copies the batch-file WinAC_BATCH.bat directly on C:\. The user must not displace it, because otherwise the function blocks of WinAC- Command can not deliver command parameters to the batch-file any longer. V1.5, Entry-ID:

9 3 Mode of operation of WinAC-Command 3 Mode of operation of WinAC-Command The function blocks use the system function blocks SFB and 65002, which are necessary to communicate with the ODK. The function block ODK_START initialise the connection between the WinAC and the batch-file. The function block ODK_RUN executes the communication. The following parameters are deliverd: a handle to the DLL a command (CMD) which decides a status, thus a return value, which is = 0, if the connection is working. Executable by the batch file (WinAC_BATCH.bat) is everything which is programmable as a console command. For example HTML-sheets can be called or arbitrary executable files (.exe ) etc.. By the parameter Command (CMD) can be defined, which command should be executed. This standard application does not guarantee real time properties, because the DLL is running at windows only. NOTE The function blocks FB100: ODK_START and FB1: ODK_RUN have to be renamed in the user programme if necessary. V1.5, Entry-ID:

The OB1 and OB100 are programmed as an example. The SFC 46 is used to stop the CPU (s. OB1/OB100: CALL STP ). 4.2 OB 100 Call the FB ODK_START In OB 100 (fig.

4 Configuration 4.3 OB 1 Call the FB ODK_RUN In OB1 (fig.3) the FB ODK_RUN is called. This one includes the handle (MW0) to the DLL, the batch-parameter CMD (MW2); and a Status (MW4).

This Status is = 0, if the call is completed error free. Afterwards the CMD is reset and the Status is checked. This standard application can be used to call everything which can be programmed as an console command call.
