1 Nobeltec TZ V2.1.2 This update is a minor release that adds various features, improvements and bug corrections. Please note that this version will be the final version of Trident and Catch compatible with Windows XP. Future version of TimeZero will only be compatible with Windows 7, Windows 8 and future version of Microsoft Windows as they become available. New Features: - Catch: Possibility to import Marks, Tracks, Lines and 3D user data from ECC Globe. Marks, Tracks and Lines can be imported directly from the ECC Globe database files usually located in C:\GLOBE\ : 3D User Data needs to be exported under the PSV format from ECC Globe before you can import it in TimeZero:

2 - Catch: Compatibility with the NMEA0183 RSD sentence allowing to display a radar cursor on the chart. This is useful to geo-reference the cursor of the standalone radar in TimeZero. Simply connect the standalone Radar (with RSD output) to TimeZero, configure the Connection Wizard and activate the Radar Cursor from the Mode button located in the ribbon. - Catch: Possibility to import PTZ2 files directly in TimeZero v2.1. PTZ2 files are 3D files that were used in previous version of TimeZero (v2.0) and below. - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Possibility to change the plotter background color when no chart is selected from the Chart button in the Ribbon. The background color can be selected from the Plotter Display Options: This feature can be useful when you want to focus on a layer of information that is not on the chart. In the example below, the background has been set to black allowing the Custom Contour

3 Lines to appear clearly on the screen: - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: New option to remove currents computation on the active route (ETA, Speed, HTS ). This can be useful when you don t want any currents to be taken into account in any of the Route NavData and list information. This option can be adjusted from the Routes Option under Use Currents in Active Route. - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: New Online AIS MarineTraffic integration providing more reliable and faster refresh time. Please note that a MarineTraffic account is required in order to activate this feature in TimeZero: After creating the account on MarineTraffic.com, you will be able to generate an Activation Key that you can enter in TimeZero to start receiving the MarineTraffic Terrestrial-AIS data:

4 The free Activation Key will allows you to display AIS Position, MMSI, COG, SOG and last received position. TimeZero users will be able to subscribe to a premium service directly on the MarineTraffic.com website to receive even more detailed information (Name, Size, Destination, ETA, Picture and more!). Improvements: - Catch: A new 3D Bathy Exaggeration factor is now available in the Navigation and Planning WorkSpace. This allows customers to increase the overall 3D Bathy Auto Exaggeration in areas that have small slopes: - Catch: The 3D data import speed has been improved (3 to 4 times faster compared with previous version) - Catch: The PBG databases are more robust against unexpected computer power shutdown and crashes. - Catch: Overall PBG performance increase and stabilization allowing TimeZero to run faster on slower computers. - Catch: The PBG brush size can now be adjusted up to 2000 meters, allowing to interpolate user 3D data on wider areas. - Trident/Catch: (with Furuno Sounder Plus Pack): Compatibility with two new transducers for the DFF1-UHD (B275LHW & CM275LHW). Note: Requires DFF1-UHD firmware upgrade. - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Better compatibility with ONF file import coming from old version of NNS. - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: A progress bar is now displayed when exporting data. Bug Fixes: - Catch: Fixed a problem that could prevent to activate and record PBG when connected to a NavNet network or when Connect to the Internet was set to Never (from the General Options). - Catch: Fixed a hang that could happen when importing multiple large MaxSea Classic PTF files (memory error). - Catch: Fixed a problem that prevented the Terrain Shading to not display properly on the chart when 3D Chart Database was the only database checked from the PBG button in the Ribbon (when Imported and PBG databases were set to OFF).

5 - Catch: Fixed a problem that could prevent PBG and 3D to be displayed properly on some XP computer with specific video card. - Catch: Fixed a problem that could prevent TZD files exported from previous version of Trident or Odyssey to be displayed properly in Catch. - Trident/Catch: Fixed a problem that was causing tooltips to not be displayed on the second screen (when Dual Monitor is enabled from the General Options). - Trident/Catch: (with Insight Radar Plus Pack): Koden sector blanking has been fixed and is now working properly. - Trident/Catch: Fixed an issue with the POSREPORT (Fleet Tracking) format that was not culture dependent (POSREPORT files generated under OS setup with different languages were not compatible with each other) - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Fixed a problem that caused the Connection Wizard to fails with some NMEA2000 AIS PGN (with newer version of the PGN). - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Tooltip are now displayed on Fishing Charts. - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Fixed an issue that could cause the Center ON button to disappear after upgrading TimeZero from an older version (the Toolbar will reset to its default settings when upgrading to this new version) - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Fixed a crash at startup that would occur when the format (under Regions and Language control panel) was set to a language that uses different characters in upper and lower case (ex: Turkish language). - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Fixed a problem that could prevent user to recall or split a track (under specific conditions). - Odyssey/Trident/Catch: Fixed a problem that could cause the Chart Object Magnetic Variation to not display proper value in the tooltip: - Odyssey: Fixed a problem that could cause a crash at startup when customer was upgrading from an old version of Odyssey and when the Route and Waypoint database contained corrupted objects.
