3 Step 1: Install AEGEUS wallet on Windows 1.1: Open your AEGEUS wallet and let it sync 1.2: Find your wallet.dat file: e.g. C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\AEGEUS (windows file path) 1.3: Backup your private keys and wallet.dat file! Very important! You may lose your coins if you don t backup! To backup click file, backup wallet and save the file somewhere safe. Or go to your AEGEUS (windows file path) look at step 1.2 And copy the wallet.dat file from that folder and save it somewhere safe After It Syncs 1.4: Send your Collateral funds to your wallet Backup your private keys and wallet.dat file! 1.5: Close the wallet, re-open it. Let it sync

4 Step 2: Accessing the Debug Console in the Wallet Open the Debug Console. 2.1: Click Tools on the top file menu. 2.2 Click Debug Console

5 Step 3: Obtaining your masternode genkey & address 3.1: In the debug console command box (bottom of the window) enter the following: masternode genkey 3.2: You should see something like this. It s your MN GENKEY (save into a text file in Notepad, (see picture):

6 3.3: Enter the following to create a masternode address (ENTER): getaccountaddress MN1 (Replace <MN1> with your MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME) Example : getaccountaddress MYFIRSTMN 3.4: You should see something like this (Copy to text file in Notepad)

7 Step 4: Wallet Setup For Masternode 4.1: Open your AEGEUS Wallet 4.2: Click Send Tab (see Picture) 4.3: Send 5000 AEGEUS to the address [MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME] 4.4: Wait for ALL confirmations to complete (See the Transactions tab in the wallet for more details).

8 4.5: Open Debug console once more (see step 2 instructions on accessing this). 4.6: Enter the following to get outputs: masternode outputs 4.7: You should see something like this (Copy into text file in Notepad) They are your TX_ID and TX_INDEX 4.8: Open the options menu in your wallet and enable the masternode tab. This will allow you to see you Masternodes easily via the Graphical User Interface (GUI) of the wallet. You can also use this once you have completed setup to start the masternode.

9 Step 5: Edit masternode.conf file 5.1: Find your masternode.conf file For example - In windows, it would be located in the following directory: C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\AEGEUS 5.2: Open masternode.conf with Notepad, You should see something like this: 5.3: Now Go To You will see your IP Address like this

10 Now go back to your masternode.conf file in notepad Leave all the lines with # in front of them there Now go to the notepad file where you have been copying and pasting all the details, like address, tx id ect to. Copy The name you labeled you Masternode and your External IP from the website above to your masternode.conf Like this: mn Use your own name and IP Behind Your IP Add This Port change it, It has to be : This is the RPC Port Don t Example: mn :29328 You will need to forward/open this port on your router You will have to google how to do this for the router that you have Copy/Paste your mastenode name and IP address Put a Space Copy your genkey and paste it in your masternode.conf Put a Space behind it, then copy/paste your txid Put a Space behind it, and copy/paste your txindex Example: ( This is what your masternode.conf will look like after you fill everything )

All other lines should be commented out with # at the beginning of each line.**

12 Step 8: Edit aegeus.conf file & Start the service. 8.1: Edit aegeus.conf file: 8.2: Copy and paste the following into aegeus.conf rpcuser=your_user_name rpcpassword=your_password rpcallowip= bind= listen=1 server=1 daemon=1 maxconnections=256 masternode=1 logtimestamps=1 masternodeprivkey=mn_genkey externalip=ip:29328 rpcport=29328 Modify the above information: Change YOUR_USER_NAME to a username Change YOUR_PASSWORD to a secure password (random is recommended) Replace IP with your External IP address Replace MN_GENKEY with your Key, Step : Save and Exit

13 Step 9: Start your masternode! 9.1: Restart wallet and Open the Debug Console. 9.2: Enter the following to start your Masternode (MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME masternode start-alias MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME 9.3: You should see something like this: "alias" : "MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME", "result" : "successful"

14 Step 9: Start your masternode! 9.1: Restart wallet and Open the Debug Console. 9.2: Enter the following to start your Masternode (MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME masternode start-alias MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME 9.3: You should see something like this: "alias" : "MASTERNODE_ALIAS_NAME", "result" : "successful" 9.4: You can use the following commands in the debug console to see the status of your Masternode: masternode status

15 9.5: Keep your Wallet running. Depending on your ISP you might not have a static IP Address, So you will have to check on the external ip website to make sure your IP has not changed. If it has changed you have to make changes in your wallet.conf files to reflect the new IP address and start your node again.
