1 Label design & print management software PRISYM is a powerful, easy-to-use software program which allows you to create, print and manage variable data output to printers, inkjet coders or RFID encoders, either in a standalone environment or across a network. PRISYM provides easy connectivity with ERP or MRP systems to help integrate the labelling function with the rest of the business process. A range of plug-in modules extend PRISYM to make it the most flexible labelling package available and the only one you ll ever need.

2 PRISYM ID There are three different versions of PRISYM to choose from, depending on the complexity of your labelling requirements: PRISYM Standard PRISYM Standard is an easy to use application that

PRISYM Standard allows a single user to design and create labels using a basic set of variable data. Dedicated, high speed drivers within the software ensure high speed data transfer to a wide range of coding devices including thermal transfer printers, inkjet coders and RFID encoders. PRISYM Standard is ideal for single workstation/single printer operations in small to medium sized enterprises. PRISYM Professional PRISYM Professional delivers all the features of the Standard product but, with a list of additional features which make it ideal for larger enterprises and multi-user environments. PRISYM Professional provides higher levels of security, connectivity and reporting. It can drive up to 7 printers concurrently and can be upgraded to an unlimited number which means that PRISYM Professional can grow as your business grows. PRISYM Print Only PRISYM Print Only is a simplified version of the product that has all of the design features removed. It s intuitive menus guide non-experienced print operators to achieve maximum performance whilst ensuring that the more sensitive label design capabilities are restricted to power users. PRISYM Evaluation License If you would like to assess the features and capabilities of the product, a fully featured version of PRISYM Professional is available for an evaluation period of 30 days. Once you have explored the product s capabilities we re sure you will want to keep it: switching to a fully licensed copy is as easy as sending an to us. 3 PRISYM ID 3 The Standard and Professional versions of PRISYM offer industry leading flexibility in a labelling package. You can extend this performance even more by choosing one of the enhanced functionality modules. PRISYM Network PRISYM Network is an extension to PRISYM, which enables multiple users (client workstations) on a single, shared licence. The solution can be administered centrally via PRISYM License Manager, which resides on the network server and monitors concurrent usage. Individual workstations can be configured to exploit different levels of functionality within the product. This means that you can have multiple users on a single workstation with differing permission levels thus protecting the integrity of label designs and ensuring accurate user logging information. 4 PRISYM ID PRISYM DataWatch PRISYM DataWatch enables PRISYM to gather variable data from a variety of host systems such as ERP, MRP, WMS solutions as well as in-house designed and legacy systems.

4 4 PRISYM ID PRISYM DataWatch PRISYM DataWatch enables PRISYM to gather variable data from a variety of host systems such as ERP, MRP, WMS solutions as well as in-house designed and legacy systems. PRISYM DataWatch enables power users to easily map data in a document produced by a host system (provided it conforms to definable rules) to formats and printer combinations configured within PRISYM. The application is intended to run as a server application but will also run as a background process on a MS Windows 2000 or later workstation. PRISYM Alert PRISYM Alert provides the functionality to monitor and control your thermal transfer, ink jet printers and other devices within the plant on a network from a central location. It comprises two separate modules: Network View Factory Logging PRISYM Alert interfaces seamlessly with PRISYM to provide all label/message design, printer set-up, printing and monitoring functionality from one easy to use application. PRISYM Alert - Network View Network View presents the production line graphically on screen. It also provides Network status monitoring and the facility to download messages to printers. Printer device icons can be dragged and dropped onto the graphical view to clearly represent and reflect the true layout of the factory or network. Printers are also displayed in a network tree in the conventional manner. Labels and messages are easily downloaded to the printers, also using drag and drop functionality. Supports a range of Inkjet and thermal transfer printers Polls printers over Ethernet and serial (RS232) networks Items on network are coloured (red, amber, or green) according to status Alarms displayed next to the printer icon - in order of severity and time Typical alerts include: ink low - icon amber and ink out - icon red PRISYM Alert - Factory Logging Factory Logging provides machine history and production log statistics. A machine history log is kept for each printer on the network and records all changes in status. A range of data is recorded dependent upon printer type. The purpose of the production log is to record what has been produced over a given period for each machine on the network.
