1 New Horizon Quick Guide Logging In. Type the web address in the address bar of your browser. Type in the address that s registered with your APC depot 3. Type in the password that was provided by your APC depot 4. Click Log In 3 4

2 New Horizon Quick Guide Account Confirmation 3 4. Go to MY ACCOUNT. Click on EDIT a. Amend/update info, if necessary (fields framed in red are mandatory) 3. Change PASSWORD 4. Enter your OPENING HOURS 5. Adjust your PRINTER SETTINGS a. See separate printer guide. Click SAVE (same position as EDIT button) NOTE: This is a quick guide only. 3 New Horizon Quick Guide Order Entry Click ORDER ENTRY. If applicable, choose TEMPLATE (instructions of separate guide) 3. Confirm order date. If applicable, include Reference Number 4. OPTION : Click on your ADDRESSBOOK 5. OPTION : Type in a POSTCODE and click on POSTCODE ADDRESS FINDER 6. Complete mandatory fields (framed in red) 7. If applicable, tick the appropriate boxes for Security, Insurance Liability, etc. 8. Enter total number of items 9. Enter total weight 0. Click on SHOW AVAILABLE SERVICES

4 3 4. New Horizon will display the cheapest option. Click on an alternative, if the default option is not suitable. Click on SAVE AS TEMPLATE, then name the template, if you wish to keep this order for fu 3. If desired, click on the appropriate box(es) to ensure confirmations are sent to the appropriate addresses (NOTE: A valid address must be included in the DELIVERY section on the previous page) 4. Click on CONFIRM & PRINT

5 New Horizon Quick Guide Order Overview Click ORDER OVERVIEW 6. Use any of the filters to hone in on the consignment that you are searching for (part postcodes can also be searched for) 7. Click SEARCH 8. The STATUS field displays the current status of the consignment. Click on the link, then click HISTORY to track the journey of the consignment. 9. In CON NUMBER, if the word none is displayed, this means that the consignment is in your basket, but you have not confirmed it for collection 0. Hover your cursor over the Con Number to display the pop up box detailing the job 6. Click on the Consignment Number to view the job, enabling you to send, edit or delete it, as well as printing another label

6 New Horizon Quick Guide Driver s Manifest 3. Click on ORDER ENTRY/MANIFESTS. If you have created consignments then the Download buttons will appear for a Driver Manifest and a Summary. Click on DOWNLOAD. 3. MS Windows will display a pop up box at the foot of the screen. Choose OPEN to display the manifest, ready for printing.

7 New Horizon Quick Guide Templates. Click on MY ORDERS/TEMPLATES. The page will display any templates that you have created. Click on the desired template to open it for editing or deletion. PS: Please see the ORDER ENTRY Quick Guide for an explanation of how to create a template

8 Basic Printer Settings Customers with Label Printers who want to Silent Print - If signed in as the depot, Go to My Account >> Accounts and find the customer. If signed in as the customer go to My Account >> My Account. - Click Edit and scroll down to the Printer Settings. - Write in their Printer Name (often ZDesigner) - Tick Silent Printing - Tick Use QZ Tray if they are using Firefox or Google Chrome - Tick 4x6 Inch Labels - Tick ZPL where possible unless they are using a Zebra LP 844 or a non Zebra label printer. - Click Save. - If you did tick QZ Tray then go to and download version.9 - The next time you go to My Orders >> Order Entry, a popup should appear telling you to accept QZ tray (this happens whether you have QZ Tray enabled or not) accept it and you should see your printer name in the top right of the screen.

9 - Everything is now setup If ZPL where possible isn t ticked you need to make sure the printer settings are correct. Go to Printer Preferences and make sure Paper Size is set to portrait and Size is set to Width 4.00 and Height 6.50 (inches) You can also calibrate your printer by going into the advanced setup tab
