1 BenefitFocus/HR InTouch Open Enrollment Instructions To view or make changes to your benefits, you will need to use the HRInTouch/BenefitFocus online enrollment system. Listed below are login instructions and helpful tips to navigate through the system. Your user ID and initial password format are indicated below. Please keep this information for future reference. All passwords have been reset to this initial password format. If you changed your user id during open enrollment or at any other time, please use that user ID rather than the user ID format listed below. If you have difficulty logging in, please contact BenefitFocus at To log in to HR InTouch: Benefitfocus supports the following browsers: 1. Go to 2. Enter your User ID and Password. Microsoft Internet Explorer: 11, 10, 9, 8 Google Chrome: 40, 39, 38 Mozilla Firefox: 35, 34, 33 Apple Safari: 8.0, 7.0, 6.1 a. Your initial User ID is your first name, the 1st initial of last name, and the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number (SSN). b. Your initial password is your SSN without the dashes. Example: Employee Name: John Smith Employee SSN: User ID: JOHNS6789 Password: Select the Login button. a. The first time you log in, follow the on-screen instructions to change your password. 4. Once you have logged in the following screen will be visible. Please click the Enroll Now button indicated on the screen below. Click here 5. Please click on the Get Started button to begin your enrollment. 1

2 Click here 6. You may add your dependents to your profile by selecting Add Dependent or click next to continue. 7. To make benefit selections for the 2016/17 school year, click on the Open Enrollment tab. **Make sure you are ALWAYS selecting benefit options under the Open Enrollment Tab for each section*** Click Open Enrollment tab 2

3 8. Please review the benefits selected and if any changes are needed use the Edit coverage to select where the change needs to be made. Click on edit coverage to make changes. 9. To complete your enrollment, you must complete Section 5 Heath FSA and Section 6 Dependent Care FSA. Click on Begin Enrollment Click Begin Enrollment 10. To select the plan click on Select Plan or to decline click on Decline Coverage. Either select or decline coverage 3

4 11. If the selection is accurate, click the Save button. Click here. 12. Once the section is complete, click on Complete Enrollment. Click here. 4

5 13. Once all sections are complete and saved, a confirmation screen will appear with a confirmation number. Please print for your records. Print for your records. 14. At this time, please review the beneficiaries for the life insurance and make any changes needed. Click on the Benefits on the left hand side menu. Click benefits 5

6 15. Scroll down to Your Life Coverage to review your beneficiary. If you need to revise your information click on the Edit next to the beneficiaries section. Click here. 16. Update informaton on file or click Next to continue. Click here 17. Repeat steps 15 & 16 for each Life Insurance Section, once the selections are accurate, then click Save Changes at the bottom left hand corner.
