How to Setup EMH 1. Attain the IP address and password for the Energy Monitoring Hub (EMH) from network administrator or person who initially configured the device. 2.

2 How to Setup EMH 1. Attain the IP address and password for the Energy Monitoring Hub (EMH) from network administrator or person who initially configured the device. 2. Open the web browser of your choice and enter IP address that was provided (see image 1 below) Image 1: 3. This will open the EMH login page (see image 2 below) Image 2: 4. Enter admin as the User Name and the password provided in step 1. This will take you to the EMH login screen (see image 3 below). 3 5. Next, click on the + sign next to Networking on the left side of the screen. This will open a sub menu, click on Setup to make sure, FTP & Telnet Login access is set to any one of the options to have it enabled, either temporarily or permanently with "Yes, always allow". If you had to change it from "No (TCP port closed)" to an enabled setting, you will need to reboot in order for that change to take effect. (see image below). If that has occurred and you still are unable to access the unit, you are likely getting blocked by a firewall or it is behind a router that is not port forwarding to the EMH Image 4: 6. 4 7. To confirm the FTP access to the EMH. Open the web browser of your choice and Enter the IP address provided in step 1 with "ftp://" tag.(see Image 6 below) Ex: ftp:// Image 6 : 8. This will open up the FTP login page (see image 6 below) Image 7 : Page 4 of 9 Ver. 1.0 Oct 2014

9. Enter root as the User Name and the password from Step 1. If this is successful, users will see a directory listing similar to the one shown in image 6 below.

Click on the + sign next to Log File Data on the left side of the screen. This will open a sub menu, click on Setup/Upload.

Click on the + sign next to Log File Data on the left side of the screen. This will open a sub menu, click on Setup/Upload. Change the Scheduled Upload Time to Connect Every 15 minutes and enable upload channel to HTTP (default) or Obvius Building Manager Online depending on the version of the AcquiSuite that is installed. 2. 6 How to configure pulse inputs for the different kind of Leviton devices First, Click on the + sign next to Modbus on the left side of the page. This will open a sub menu, click on Device List. This will bring up a list of all devices connected to the EMH. a. Using a Flex IO module to connect Pulse Devices (See image 9 below) i. Look under Type on the device list and identify the unit labeled Obvius, A8332-8F2D, IO Module, 8-Flex, 2-DO. Click on the associated device number for the Flex IO module. ii. This will bring up the interface for the Flex IO module. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Configure. Identify which input of the Flex IO the pulse input is connected to (check with site administrator or installer of the device if you are unsure), and click Config Point on the right side of the page the correlates to that input. iii. From here, enter a unique name for the Sensor Name field, select Pulse from the Input Mode drop down list and the appropriate multiplier for the pulse device. Note, some pulse devices may need to use Pulse KYZ, consult manufacturer of the meter if you are unsure iv. Select kwh from the drop down list labeled (select standard units). Click Save Profile at the bottom of the page. v. Note- if not using an electric meter, contact the manufacturer to determine the correct units of measure for the particular meter. 7 b. Using a HD Pulse Module to connect Pulse Devices (see image 10 below) i. Look under Type on the device list and identify the unit labeled Obvius, A , pulse counter, 23 channel. Click on the associated device number for the HD Pulse module. ii. This will bring up the interface for the HD Pulse module. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Configure. Identify which input of the HD Pulse the pulse input is connected to (check with site administrator or installer of the device if you are unsure), and click first Config Point on the right side of the page that correlates to that input. Note, do not click on second config point that correlates to Input # Demand. iii. From here, enter a unique name for the Sensor Name field and select the appropriate multiplier for the pulse device. Select kwh from the drop down list labeled (select standard units). Click Save Profile at the bottom of the page. iv. Note- if not using an electric meter, contact the manufacturer to determine the correct units of measure for the particular meter. Image 10(Only for Electric Meter) : c. 8 Image 11(Only for Electric Meter) : i. Look under Type on the device list and identify the unit labeled Obvius, ModHopper, R9120-x. Click on the associated device number for the ModHopper. ii. This will bring up the interface for the ModHopper. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Configure. Identify which of the pulse inputs of the Modhopper the meter is connected to (check with site administrator or installer of the device if you are unsure), and click first Config Point on the right side of the page that correlates to that input. Note, do not click on second config point that correlates to Pulse # Rate. iii. From here, enter a unique name for the Sensor Name field and select the appropriate multiplier for the pulse device. Select kwh from the drop down list labeled (select standard units). Click Save Profile at the bottom of the page. iv. Note- if not using an electric meter, contact the manufacturer to determine the correct units of measure for the particular meter. When using a water, gas, or steam meter it is important to ensure the correct units are used. In addition make sure the proper Pulse multiplier is used. Make sure that the field Sensor make and Model in the EMH has strings water or air or gas or steam in order to identify meter type as shown in image 12 Image 12(Only for Water, Gas, Air, Steam Meters) : Page 8 of 9 Ver. 1.0 Oct 2014
