2 CSF GROUP Overview is principally engaged in the business of providing a full range of services associated with data centers, namely the design and development of data centers including project management, fit-out and integration of the equipment within data centre facilities and other computer rooms, and data centre tenancy solutions. Since 1991, the Group has undertaken contract works to build and fit-out over 200 data centers and computer support facilities in Malaysia with some installations in Indonesia, China, and India. Our clients include government-linked organizations, financial institutions, companies in the telecommunications industry and the oil and gas industry. A Data Centre or collocation centre is a facility to house mission critical computer systems and associated components. Data centers house networking and computing equipment such as servers, routers and fiber optic transmission gear, allowing businesses that own this equipment to connect and interact with each other and the internet. This equipment is highly sensitive to environmental conditions and therefore factors such as temperature and humidity are tightly controlled through the use of specialized ventilation and air conditioning equipment. Given the critical importance of these functions to businesses, equipment security and continuous operations are vital and are achieved through the use of redundant / backup power infrastructure, reinforced floors and security and monitoring systems. In 2003, the Group completed the development of its own high-end commercial Data Centre in Cyberjaya, Malaysia (central region), known as CSF CX1 Computer Exchange. Capitalizing on the success of CX1, the Group completed the development of a much larger Data Centre known as CX2 Computer Exchange in January CX2 is located within a short distance from CX1 and is currently the largest high-end commercial Data Centre in South East Asia. The Group has also recently completed the development of a small data centre facility housed on a single floor within an office building in Johor, Malaysia (southern region). At present, the Group is involved in the development of new data center in Cyberjaya, named CX5. When completed, the will have more than 400,000 ft 2 (more than 37,000 m 2 ) of Data Center space under its operations. The Group aims to become one of the largest Data Centre Infrastructure service providers in Asia, following their footsteps of being one of the leading Data Centre Operator in South East Asia. With the current workforce of 120 under its umbrella, the Group has already begun to expand its business to Vietnam and Thailand, and intends to move into China, India and Indonesia within the medium term. High-end commercial data centers are relatively scarce in the aforementioned countries and the Group intends replicate its success in these countries. The clients of the Group comprise companies involved in various industries including banking, insurance, automotive, food and beverage, travel, manufacturing and information technology. 3 Business of the Group Headquartered in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia, the Group currently operates 3 independent data centers in Malaysia and continues to carry out fit-out and integration works at the data centers and computer rooms of its clients, including ongoing maintenance of these facilities. Presently, the Group core focuses are: Rental of data centre space; Profit share from outsourced services; Project Management, Contracting, supply and fit-out of data centre infrastructure and other computer support facilities; and Provision of Maintenance services of data centre infrastructure and other computer support facilities. The Group has realized its potential to profit from the design and development of data centers and accordingly, the services of the Group have been streamlined to each operating company within the Group, namely CSF Advisers, Atlas CSF and CSF CX. Today, the is a recognized as a leading designer and operator of high end Data Center facilities, backed by an experienced team with proven processes and 24x7 services. CSF Advisers CSF Advisers will be principally engaged in the following business activities: (i) (ii) Design and development of data centers; Technical consulting and program / project management / turnkey management of the construction of data centers. The aforementioned services can be undertaken by CSF Advisers based on the following arrangements:- Develop, own and operate; Develop for third parties on a turnkey contract basis; Develop, sell and operate; and Develop, sell, leaseback and operate; and (iii) Marketing of data centre Tenancy Solutions and sourcing for tenants for data centers (iv) Development and implementation of Data Centre Facilities Operations, Maintenance and Management Policies, Processes and Procedures. The design and development of data centers entails mainly the following services: (a) Selection of location and direction of the data centre; Page 3

4 (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) Preparing the design and layout plans for the data centre (usually in consultation with an architectural firm) including the structural specifications such as insulation, energy usage, safety features and security features; Designing the external and internal finishes of the data centre; Designing the landscape and surroundings of the data centre facility; Assessment and recommendation of the mechanical and electrical ( M&E ) infrastructures to be installed in the data centre; Designing the telecommunications access into the facility, including the access to the various floors; and Assessment and recommendation of hardware and software including advice on design and/or modifications of the same in relation to the connectivity of the servers housed within data centers and other computer support facilities to the world wide web and other external facilities. The project management of the construction of data centers entails the following services: (a) (b) (c) (d) (e) (f) (g) (h) Submission of design and layout plans to the relevant authorities, and to obtain the necessary approvals for the construction of the data centre; Securing the supply of electrical power to the data centre facility, including the negotiations involving the capacity and tariffs; Selection and recommendation of the contractors to undertake the earthworks, piling and construction of the building; Monitoring the works undertaken by the contractors; Providing constant feedback and consultation to the contractors; Selection and recommendation of the appropriate M&E equipment; Monitoring the procurement, delivery and installation of the M&E equipment; and Testing the functionality of the entire data centre facility. 5 Atlas CSF Atlas CSF will be principally engaged in project management, contracting, supply, fit-out and maintenance of data centre infrastructure. Atlas CSF is expected to be involved as a contractor in the data centre development projects to be undertaken by CSF Advisers in the future. Atlas CSF is also expected to undertake technology integration services. This usually involves the integration of various infrastructure equipment and solutions together, covering the development of communications protocols and systems engineering. CSF CX CSF CX will be principally engaged in providing: (i) Data Centre Tenancy Solutions which entail mainly the following services: Analysis of efficiency of the data centre infrastructure including analysis of infrastructure (e.g. power) usage by the occupants or tenants; Prediction of power usage, heat and air-cooling flow patterns, and recommend solutions to enhance the efficiency of the M&E infrastructures within the data centre; Recommendation of solutions to minimise the usage of power (the most significant operating cost of a data centre facility); Identify weaknesses in security and safety features of the data centre facility and recommend improvements thereto; and Monitoring of the functionality and maintenance of hardware and software housed within data centers and other computer support facilities, including but not limited to the provision of back-up solutions and troubleshooting; (ii) (iii) Network infrastructure solutions; Managed Services Solutions and Data Management, Consultancy, Security Review, Process development and Audit; and (iv) Provision and implementation of design, technical and maintenance services related to the above scope of services CSF CX is also expected to be involved as a service provider in the data centre development projects to be undertaken by CSF Advisers in the future. 8 CSF Computer Exchange 1 (CX1) CSF Advisers completed the development of CX1 and commenced operations on 21 May At that time, CX1 was the largest commercial DC in Malaysia. 10 CSF Computer Exchange 3 (CX3) In January 2009 CSF Advisers completed CX3, a 3,000ft 2 data centre within a building known as Menara MSC Cyberport in Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. CX3 is sub-let to a Malaysian Telecommunications company.
