1. 8-Button Board If you are experiencing performance issues with your button board, disconnect the USB cable from your computer, and reconnect the cable after 30 seconds.

1 Advance Troubleshooting Part I Complete the following steps only if you have the Google Chrome browser running: 1. Navigate to Google s Chrome browser close all tabs except for one. 2.

3 1. 8-Button Board If you are experiencing performance issues with your button board, disconnect the USB cable from your computer, and reconnect the cable after 30 seconds. If you continue to experience performance issues, follow the forthcoming steps for advance troubleshooting. 1.1 Advance Troubleshooting Part I Complete the following steps only if you have the Google Chrome browser running: 1. Navigate to Google s Chrome browser close all tabs except for one. 2. Locate the menu button on the upper right-hand corner of your screen. 3. Select Settings: 4. Select Show Advanced Settings: 5. Navigate to the Privacy Field and select Content Settings: 6. Scroll down to MIDI Devices Full Control and select Do not allow any sites to use system exclusive messages to access MIDI devices 7. Select the Processes tab and locate all instances of Google Chrome, and click End Process for each of these instances. 3. After all chome.exe instances are terminated, restart your C9 Trader application for the changes to take effect. Only end these processes after making the changes to Google Chrome in Part 1.1. If you continue to experience performance issues or are not using Google Chrome, proceed to Part II. 1.3 Advance Troubleshooting Part II [Requires Reboot] 1. Navigate to Windows Device Manager: Select Windows key + R to open the Run command window and input: devmgmt.msc and select OK. Page 3 of 8

5 2. Select Sound, Video and Game Controllers to drop the drop-down menu and locate the Arturia Beatstep driver listing. [image on next page] 3. Right click on LPD8 and select Uninstall. This will prompt a restart. 4. Disconnect the button board prior to restarting your computer. 5. Reconnect the button board after logging in. This will reinstall the driver from the button board automatically (this may show a popup informing of the driver install). Legend: 8 Button Board = LPD8 (v ). Note: This device uses a standard. 1.4 Part II Optional Step [Sleep/Power Save Management] 1. Open Window Devices Manager by pressing the Windows key + R to open the Run command window. Input devmgmt.msc and select OK. 2. Scroll down to Universal Serial Bus controllers and select on an option that ends in HUB. 3. Select the Power Management tab and uncheck Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power; select OK. 4. Repeat this action for every instance that ends in HUB. Page 4 of 8

6 1.5 Issues with Google Chrome If chrome.exe is identified as the root cause, we are currently working with the Google Chrome team to resolve this issue as part of their upcoming release.
