The FS-C1020MFP is a complete system for the Low Volume Multifunctional Desktop User. Standard Features are a Document Processor, Fax System, Duplex Unit and Print Controller. A Paper capacity upgrade is the only option, expandable to an additional 500 sheets. 4 Page 2 DEALER LIMITED WARRANTIES FOR THE FS-C1020MFP Kyocera Mita America, Inc. ( Kyocera ) warrants to its Authorized Dealers that its new Multifunctional Products / Printers (both referred to herein as MFP/Printers ) will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of 15 months from Kyocera s invoice date to Dealer, or the specified number of copies/prints as listed below, whichever is earlier. Kyocera obligation hereunder is expressly limited to providing Dealer with the parts required to repair the MFP/Printer or crediting Dealer's account for the cost of said parts, at Kyocera's election. The All-In-One Cartridge, lamps, exterior covers, consumable parts, and all labor costs, are specifically excluded from this warranty. This warranty does not cover MFP/Printer, which: (a) have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or electrical stress, (b) have used parts or supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies, (c) have been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera or an Authorized Kyocera Dealer (d) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed, or (e) Dealer fails to register the installation information for the MFP/Printer with Kyocera utilizing KMAconnect. THIS WARRANTY IS MADE IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AND KYOCERA SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY SHALL NOT EXTEND TO, AND KYOCERA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR, ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHICH MAY ARISE OUT OF THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE MFP/PRINTER. Printer Model Prints FS-C1020MFP 90,000 DEALER LIMITED WARRANTY FOR CONSUMABLES Kyocera Mita America, Inc. ( Kyocera ) warrants to the Authorized Dealer that the All-In-One Cartridge (TK-152K, TK-152C, TK-152M, & TK-152Y) for the FS-C1020MFP will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use and service for a period of (90) days from installation, or until depleted, whichever occurs first. Kyocera s obligation hereunder is expressly limited to providing the Dealer a replacement All-In-One Cartridge, as applicable or crediting Dealer s account for the cost of said All-In-One Cartridge, at Kyocera s election. This warranty does not cover All-In-One Cartridges, which: (a) have become damaged due to operator negligence, misuse, accidents, improper storage or unusual physical or electrical stress, (b) do not work properly because of failure to following operating, storage and maintenance instructions, (c) have been used with parts or supplies which are not genuine Kyocera brand parts or supplies, (d) have been installed or serviced by a technician not employed by Kyocera or an Authorized Kyocera Dealer; (e) have had the serial number modified, altered, or removed; or (f) Dealer fails to register the installation information for the MFP/Printer with Kyocera utilizing KMAconnect. 5 Page 3 WARRANTY RETURNS Technical Services would like to make the Warranty Return Process more efficient so your Warranty Claim can be verified and processed in the least amount of time possible. To process your Warranty Claim and verify other key information, the 2-page Configuration Page and a 1-page Maintenance Page must be included with the returned item. If all three pages are not included with your Warranty Claim, the process will be delayed and/or rejected. PRODUCT TRAINING Product Training Prerequisites On-line Training on KMAconnect Any Color Class Product Training for the FS-C1020MFP is offered as a full On-Line Training Course available at the Learning Center on KMAconnect. The Dealership can place their first order but will not be authorized to purchase additional Printers until at least one Technician has completed the On-Line Training Course with an overall score of 80 or higher. Technical Services recommends that the each Technician complete the Online Color Theory 101 course. The defective PCB can be returned using the Online Repair Board Core Form within 30 days of the Repair PCB invoice date. Upon receipt of the defective PCB at the National Return Center, the dealer will be credited 55% of the New PCB price.
