Takes ~ 30 sec to 1 minute *GPS accuracy for the Watchem Watch is impacted by a number of factors e.g. being indoors (e.g. no clear line of sight to the minimum number of GPS satellites). GPS accuracy of a small child s Watch will not always be as precise or quick to locate as using a fully functioning smartphone for GPS tracking.

4 Why do I get this error message sometimes? (Error message: Device Offline & Equipment is not connected to the internet) When the Watch is out of battery, the Watch and App can t communicate together When your SIM account is not activated or not in credit with your provider When Optus settings are incorrect please see Step 1 Watchem Watch Set up From Watch go to SETTINGS + WIRELESS & NETWORKS and SCROLL UP + MORE + MOBILE NETWORKS and SCROLL UP + ACCESS POINT NAMES and make sure yesinternet is selected When there is no clear line of sight to the minimum number of satellites for GPS location For assistance please contact enquiry@watchem.com.au for technical support

Watchem Watch Changes: Go to SETTINGS + SIM Management Swipe bottom up and chose ROAMING Select Data Roaming & Tick Press Green Handset icon on Watch Face to go back Select ROAMING Reminder NEVER (ensures this message doesn t appear when your child calls) *The Watchem has been produced for use within Australia and whilst the Watchem has been used overseas using international roaming, Watchem cannot guarantee the reliability of use of the Watch, its functions or the Parent App whilst overseas. Parent App Changes Go to SETem Go to ALERT ME and change to international format +614 etc. Go to PHONE BOOK and change to international format +614 etc. Go to ALERT LIST and change to international format +614 etc Option 2 Use an in-country compatible SIM* The Watchem works on the 3g network across 900MHz and 1200MHz frequencies Please do your research on which mobile providers use these frequencies before heading o/s. Watchem Watch Changes if data is not working If Data is not working properly, you may have to change the APN settings on the Watch to the correct APN settings. Please look up the in-country provider for their internet APN settings and change; SETTINGS + WIRELESS & NETWORK, Scroll Bottom Up, MORE, Mobile Networks, Access Point Names Check if the Internet APN settings are accurate for your in-country provider If not, select the right one OR ADD the correct one THEN Reboot Watch Parent App Changes Go to SETem Go to ALERT ME and change to international format +614 etc. Go to PHONE BOOK and change to international format +614 etc. Go to ALERT LIST and change to international format +614 etc *The Watchem has been produced for use within Australia and whilst the Watchem has been used overseas using international roaming, Watchem cannot guarantee the reliability of use of the Watch, its functions or the Parent App whilst overseas.
